Hotel was clean and staff was great

Room was very clean, and all staff I encountered over a week long stay (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance) were all helpful and pleasant. Particular shoutout to the maintenance fellow who went to get a fan for me in the gym on a very hot day - above & beyond.

I booked a 3 night stay for our family and checked out after an hour! This was THE WORST experience ever! It’s such a shame to have Marriott attached to the name! First there is an unmentioned $18/night parking fee and an unexpected $150 deposit; manageable but STILL; next we booked a 2 bedroom suite with the kitchenette; one word: ROACHES! Well actually 2 words: ROACHES GALORE! As soon as we opened the door a roach was on the wall in the dining area; we killed it but didn’t unpack; went out for food after an 8 hour ride, came back sat at the table and it wasn’t 10 minutes until roaches were crawling all in our plates and coming from under the stove and sink; enough of that though, I called the front desk and was informed there were no other rooms available and he apologized and gave us the option of LEAVING! At 1:00am here we were scrambling to make another reservation at another hotel! NEVER EVER AGAIN! Not to mention, the smell in the hotel is awful and the couch/sofa bed was severely run down and dirty.

I liked everything about this property. This was my first time in Atlanta. The staff was great. The room was incredibly clean. I met many wonderful people from all over the world. It is a very nice place to visit. I will definitely be going back.

Room needs a complete makeover. Carpet on floor ripped with big nasty black stains. Toilet worn out and black and had been painted. Stove was very nasty. Needed a complete scrubbing and deep cleaning. Tub had been painted and looks terrible.

This property is in a great location for us. It has deteriorated in its services & cleanliness since we stayed there less than a year ago. Although we reported that our room was unbearably hot there was no maintenance available. The temperature for the weekend was in the 60s & 70s but we were on the 4th floor & I would guess it was at least 80 in our suite. While the suite seemed to have been cleaned,the shower was not. The furniture needs to be refurbished in the sitting area. The breakfast bar was not appetizing & was not replenished with condiments. I would recommend the location but not the service or condition. We were surprised at how much it had changed in less than a year.

The front staff was very rude and nasty. The pool was closed and the site did not make that clear. We were given ice in a plastic bag. Someone’s dog used the bathroom in the hall. Will never stay again

Needs upgraded, very dark and musty, breakfast was a major disappoin**ent and heat/ ac unit was loud and rattled. This place needs modernized in every way. Staff was unfriendly to top things off!
