Our 1st room was a disaster. It was extremely small, tucked into a corner of the hotel. It smelled and the plumbing did not work. We requested a different room and we were able to relocate to a different floor, bigger room, no smell. I took a shower and once again the tub dripped nonstop. Very annoying as we again put in a work order and nothing was done. Room cleaning was NOT exacting and crumbs remained on rug. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were a joke. Wont return to this Hilton.

We were here for only one night, and we got in late (almost 11 PM) and left the next morning. The front desk staff were excellent: Polite, helpful, and even tried to get us some food from the restaurant, though it was nearly closing time. He told me he would call within 5 minutes to lmk what he could do, and he did-- WOW! In this day and age, I was super impressed with how he went above & beyond. Our room-- a regular room with a king-sized bed-- was only a few steps from the front desk, so we didn't get to see much of the rest of the hotel, but the bit we saw was older, yet very clean and nicely kept. We had great water pressure & a well-functioning drain in the bathtub (pet peeves of mine), the bed was comfortable, the room pretty quiet despite being close to the reception area, and there was plenty of storage and a cold mini fridge for our drinks (The staff gave us with 2 bottles of water upon check in-- another nice little perk). The modern, LED back-lit mirror couldn't make up for the lack of exhaust fan in the bathroom, but there was plentiful counter space, the bathroom was big enough, & the towels were nice and soft. The usual complimentary mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were accompanied by lotion, two cakes of soap, a small container of shoe polish, as well as 4 individually packaged makeup remover wipes. This was one of the best-staffed hotels in which we've stayed in recent memory. Highly recommend if you're ISO a clean, comfortable hotel.

Really not worth the price at all. Most uncomfortable bed imaginable. I’m only 155 pounds and it was barely able to support me. Can’t imagine for a person 200+. In addition the AC was extremely loud, however they did switch my room. The bell boy told me “we have you the only room that had a broken ac” like is that a joke

Everything was very nice and very clean. The reception was nice and professional. My only issue was getting on to the Wi-Fi, which was tricky but the front desk was very helpful. Also, my TV was not connected somehow and therefore did not function. The front desk person once again came to my assistance but the problem could not be rectified and therefore, I was without TV during my stay. One last thing was when I made my morning cup of coffee, the creamers were sour, so no coffee that morning.

My wife and I have stayed at the Roslyn HotelT least 4 times a year. The staff is amazing! Accommodations are clean and quiet, and the location is lovely. Special thanks to Alexa and the rest of the staff who always make us feel “at home”.

The property is convenient to the LIRR station and the small main street of Roslyn. It's on a main road and you can see/hear some traffic at times. Of note the poor design of the bathroom sinks inevitably leads to leaking of water. The breakfast was quite good, though pricey for the location.

I had read the reviews about it being very noisy and hearing everything in the rooms. They did honor my request for a quiet room which was a corner room but in the second floor. I really liked the room , nice separate room with couch and fireplace and liked the kitchy furniture. Bathroom was very outdated with cracks in the sealant all around the tub. Had to hold the shower knob up to get really hot water. None of this was really a bother for an overnight stay, however there seemed to be a wedding party and guests staying at the hotel . We experienced what others had mentioned in their reviews about how thin the walls were and could hear everything. This was in the afternoon and seeing a lot of 20 year olds staying in the hotel for the wedding, we were concerned about how it most likely be really bad with noise later that night. We actually left the hotel as we went to our function and luckily we’re able to stay with my sister in law and didn’t return .We had a long drive back the next day and didn’t want to be up all night

The Roslyn is a nice place with friendly staff members. My only issue with my stay was that there were terribly rowdy guests who kept us up until 3 am. This hotel seems to be a popular spot for wedding parties to stay at, and we could hear all of the people occupying the floor above us running around, screaming, and slamming doors after coming back from a long night out. This is slightly out of the hotel's control, but it did ruin our experience here.
