Candlewood Suites Vestal - Binghamton

The hotel was just ok….our room was dirty. Toothpaste spit down the front of the sink doors. There were toenail clippings, sugar packets, hair ties and just little stuff that have not been vacuumed in awhile. The shower heated up to just warm at best and the lights didn’t work. The heater/ Ac sounded like there was a gear missing. We ended up with a room with a stove and appliances, which was nice BUT they wall were wiped down with a dirty cloth so they were all smeared with stuff. The toaster had jelly all over it. On a good note the beds we’re clean……. BUT the pillows were filthy. I personally would never stay again, but if your looking for a place to stay the area was safe and bed was clean.

First room they gave us smelled like urine (pet friendly) and yet they said they didn’t have other rooms to give us until we asked for a refund. When we switched it smelled fine but was dirty: Vaseline container on floor, dirty mirror with writing, no garbage basket or Kleenex in bathroom, broken lock on door. Staff seemed less than friendly and manager actually huffed as she had to help us. We won’t be back!!

I wasn’t even allowed to check in! I paid for two nights because I needed to check in at 7:30am and check out at 6:30pm the same day. When I showed up, I was told I had to wait until 3pm to check in, even though I had booked the night before. Absolutely unacceptable.

It was very quiet. Bed was comfortable. Place was clean. We didn’t have a hair dryer but the front desk acquired one for us

Filthy coffee maker that hadn't been cleaned in idk how long. Dishwasher was full, when trying to use the bedside lamp found it was unplugged, what was behind the nightstand was disgusting. It was only a one night stay so we put up with it, morning shower was a trickle and barely hot at the hottest setting. When we left I asked the desk clerk if they had a problem with the water pressure he replied, without looking up from his phone, not that I know of. Stay away

Good location, price, amenities. Love their fitness center. Very pleasant staff. Solid and functional accommodations. Comfortable. The surfaces be a little cleaner - I have very high standards, though - they show some smears from hands that checked out. I recommend the hotel.

Clean location with additional features of a small convience store and lending closet (with anything from a crockpot to candy land board game). Great accommodations for families. Within 5 minutes from Binghamton University.

When my sister and I come to Endwell, NY, to see our sister, we stay here. The building is clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the rate reasonable. The ONLY objection I have is in their use of synthetic sheets which turns a perfectly comfortable bed into a sweatbox. To be fair, I did not ask the front desk for cotton ones. Next time, I will.

The hand soap bottle was empty. The bathroom tissue were all wet. We are on 3rd floor. In the middle of the night the people above us started walking and the floor making lots of noise. It woke us up so didn’t really get good night sleep. I am surprised how bad the sound proof of the hotel. Very disappointing visit
