Place is clean and a great location if you want to be in the smokes. It's an old hotel but clean. Not bad for the price.

We knew this place was old, but never imagined it would be as run down as it was. There was hair on the pillows and bathroom sink, brown splashes dried around the toilet, the paint was peeling from the bathtub, there was no smoke detector, the comforter and pillows had stains, and there were brown stains along the wall near the bed. When we informed the front desk that we would like to check out and receive a refund due to this, we’re were told we could not get a refund and they refused to be helpful, only offering a different room. Will never go back.

I WAS BASICALLY ROBBED OF $57.00 FROM TRIPS.COM AND LLOYDS ON THE RIVER MOTEL. AND I CANCELED THE ROOM WAY AHEAD OF CHECK IN TIME. THIS POLICY IS WRONG CAUSE PEOPLE ON FIXED INCOMES WILL GET ROBBED IF THEY BOOK WITH TRIP.COM AND THEN CANCEL. I WANT MY $57 BACK ASAP/
