新紀元酒店(New Era Hotel)

New Era Hotel is a clean and cozy hotel in the heart of downtown. Breakfast is good but can be much better as they name themselves a 4 star hotel. The only negative item in this hotel in my point of view was that they put two bottles of water for the first day, and did not recharge them for the other days which was strange for a 4 star hotel in fact.

The hotel is at a very good location in old town. Just walking distance up to about 30 minutes in all directions are all the beautiful historic buildings you need to see. Yes it is going to be loud because it’s on the street with pubs and clubs but I didn’t mind the noise so much. Staff were very kind and helpful. Even helped me book a car for a discounted rate compared to what I would pay hailing a cab myself. The hotel is right next to Old City restaurant and the food is nice there. Keep in mind this is on a pedestrian street so cars can’t drop you to the hotel door. So if you have luggage just remember it’s about a five minutes walk from the Main Street where you get dropped off.

They waited for me until after midnight. The room was very clean and the service was great. Highly recommended if you want to experience the nightlife fully. Everything you need is nearby.

Das Hotel ist klein, aber sauber. Da wir vor dem Frühstück bereits abreisten, haben wir ein großes Lunchpaket mitbekommen. Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt, umgeben von Restaurants und Bars. Zufahrt mit Taxi/Uber oder Bus nicht möglich, ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg durch die Altstadt. Für eine Übernachtumg am WE ist es aber nicht zu empfehlen. Bis Sonntagmorgen 5 Uhr lief laute Musik mit Bass, auch um 6:30 Uhr hatten noch Lokale geöffnet. Gott sei Dank hatten wir nur 1 Übernachtung.

I stayed in this hotel with my friend for 3 nights. It is a nice hotel with modern feel. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated, bathroom is big (toiletries provided), there is also a mini fridge, coffee machine, and the bed is so comfortable. The breakfast is very nice, loads of choices from hot food to continental (highlight for me). Reception is on the second floor, there was a boots/shoes machine cleaner which my friend really love (must try to). Location wise its central in old town, loads of nice restaurants and to walk around. I would have rate a 5 star, but just be aware if your a light sleeper, you may find it hard to sleep due to the loud music from night clubs nearby. Just bring a good quality earplug or airbud, you'll be find then. We didn't sleep well on our first night due to noise and heat in the room (couldnt open window due to noise) aircondition was set for winter time as per male reception staff. But 2nd night was not too bad we open the window for few minutes turn off aircon and had my airpods with me. The reception will provide earplugs if you ask. The noise is not hotels fault don't get me wrong its just the night clubs sorrounding by, usually starts from 11pm to 3am with loud music. If your up to partying this hotel would be the best. Otherwise a lovely hotel to stay if in Bucharest for few days, cleanliness is topnotch.

Hotel in centro, posizione perfetta. Sono convenzionati con il parcheggio del centro commerciale che non è poco ,sopratutto per chi come noi ha preso una macchina in affitto. Ottima colazione, i crassoint erano buonissimi. Super consigliato

IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SLEEP IN THIS HOTEL. I paid 6 nights in this hotel. I could only stay for 2 nights. There are night clubs near the hotel. from 23.00 to 07.00 in the morning music is played at such a volume that even earplugs do not help. I left early. The nice manager said that he understood everything and could not influence this problem in any way. He promised to return the money. Today is November 03, but I still have not received the money. Hotel manager Florian Tudor writes positive reviews about his hotel on Google. I strongly DO NOT recommend visiting this hotel.
