Location The hotel is in the newer part of the city (Puerto Madero) but convenient in terms of location to most of the neighborhoods you might also want to see like Recoleta, San Telmo, Palermo, Retiro, Belgrano, and La Boca. There's a super market, $ exchange, and restaurants/bars on the block. It's a short walk to Casa Rosada and Plaza de Mayo (~.6 miles). What is considered ”walkable” is up to you, so I recommend plugging into google maps to get a better idea. Uber is great option and usually pick you up in less than 5 min. Taxis are also out front. Rooms The room was nice. We had a great view facing the city and the Puente de la Mujer bridge. No issues on anything room related. We weren't there much though. Customer Service The staff was great. The downstairs bar has great drinks and service was quick. Talking to the bartenders was actually a highlight of our trip. Manuel was really awesome and easy to talk with and the entire staff was friendly. I recommend trying some of their personality based drinks. I usually stick to beer/wine but decided to try it out and it was really good. Food We didn't eat at the hotel much so can't give food review but majority of our group seemed to enjoy it. There's also a lot of options within 5 min walk of hotel.
A nice hotel near downtown Buenos Aires. The place is clean and the staff is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and the view is top notch. I recommend this hotel for your next visit to Buenos Aires. A lot of amenities around the area are walking distance.
Average hotel in a very busy part of the city. Beds are small and our room was never cleaned in our 3 night stay as they don’t arrive until late afternoon when we were already back to our room. Small room and the black decor did it no favours at all ! Not sure who designed it like this. Towels could do with replacing. No Iron in the room either. Reception staff are not very friendly. Limited choice at breakfast and this could be greatly improved. However cocktails are good quality and we enjoyed the outdoor sunbed and seating area. Disappointed overall.
We stayed for 4 days at The Alvear Palace Hotel, it is a grand old hotel in the stylish neighborhood of La Recoleta, walking distance to shops, restaurants, museums, parks etc. Our suite was spacious, bathroom had a TV over the bathtub, never occur to me to watch TV while taking a bath! The broadloom needs Dining at the hotel Alvear Grill was exceptional, attentive service... and great steak!
The hotel is situated in the heart of town - so many fabulous restaurants, cafes and bars on its doorstep. Facilities are basic but the room was very clean and the breakfast more than adequate. The perfect hotel for creating a base in the heart of Buenos Aires. The real plus we’re the excellent staff who were on hand and eager to assist with everything. Very knowledgable helpful and kind - special mention to Danny, Sarah and Gabriel who were excellent, all three went above and beyond, so a huge thanks to the three of you - you made us so very welcome. Nos veremos de nuevo muy pronto

A lovely boutique hotel in the Retiro area near Barrio Norte. Modern renovations in the rooms and public area but retains som charm from the past. Rooms were spacious, well maintained, very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Particularly the folks at the desk. Beautiful park just in front of hotel and close to major shopping areas and sites. An excellent value for money.
SshawndaikiLocation, location, location.
Excellent Punto cafe across the road, a Western Union branch round the corner, police station 2-3 blocks down, lotsa grocery stores around you, walking distance to San Telmo market, location is Babel Studio’s greatest advantage.
The other thing about location would be Argentinian late night party culture, you may not get a good nights sleep.
Clean and spacious room, reliable AC, hot water and pressure, it ticks the boxes for what one would expect in a stay. The only improvement I would hope for is to adjust the shower head holder, I’m 6 ft and can reach it comfortably but for someone shorter it might be a stretch.
Also the monochrome design is modern and attractive but the white lighting makes the room feel harsh on the eyes. Warm lighting would do wonders for the space.
We did not have a smooth check in experience and was stranded outside for 15 min until another guest let us in as they were leaving. Would be good to receive check in info prior to the stay as the reception is not manned round the clock.
Overall a pleasant stay and highly recommend.
訪訪客Desayuno muro regular, pobre.
