維多利亞森林度假村(Victoria Forest Resort)

Eine wundervolle Lage am Strand für atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge und die Möglichkeit, ein köstliches Abendessen direkt am Victoria See zu genissen. Die Unterkunft ist etwas abseits von anderen Hotelanlagen gelegen, in angenehmer Nähe zum Hafen (ca. 15 min zu Fuss). Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und hat uns bei all unseren Fragen und Anliegen direkt weitergeholfen. Die Anlage ist nicht brandneu, aber sehr gut gepflegt und hält alles bereit, was man zum Entspannen und Entdecken der Insel braucht (tolle Lage direkt in der Natur, Pool, Lagerfeuer jeden Abend, Naturewalks in Wald und über Insel, Fahrradverleih etc.) haben wir uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gern wieder. The staff were great. The chef was incredible, The vibe was chill but alive. They set up a boat tour to crocodile island, although there was one dog and a monitor lizard only. The nightly bonfire was cool......................................

Went to the resort for Easter this year with the family and the long and short of it is the good are just as the bad. The place looks great, nice views to and from the resort. Great for relaxing by the beach too. Upon check in, the rooms were dirty (dirty floors and dusty furniture which was unfortunate). This was only dealt with after we left the room key by the reception the next morning requesting a room clean. Also, there are quite a few bugs and mosquitoes. While they do provided nets in the rooms, our nets had holes and we left the trip with several insect bites. The resort does offer several activities; a small pool and sauna complimentary for stay guests. They do need more towels and robes/gowns for those using the pool and the sauna since these were not enough for the Easter crowd. The food was okay. Each buffet meal came with a soup starter, salads, fruits and desserts along with the main course.. .well, almost every meal. The Easter Sunday dinner, while it was different from the other days (a barbecue dinner), did not provide any vegetables, salads or fruits yet with have to part with 60,000ugsh for this meal! As for the service, we did encounter very kind and helpful staff as well as some very rude staff so …. Key to note, there are no kettles or fridges in the rooms so plan accordingly. Also, I wouldn’t recommend booking the cottages, they were just too tiny.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we had a very relaxing stay.

Service was top notch. The people who work there from the receptionist and wait staff to the manager make sure that your experience is comfortable and memorable. I loved my stay there and will go back

the rooms were excellently nice but more cleanliness on the floor required and room service. amazing breakfast the ambience of the resort is a must visit to everybody who like beautiful nature. the beach is extremely beautiful with that stretch of white sand and the palm trees, you want to have memorable pictures you visit victoria forest resort

This has been the best vacation I have had during my visit to Uganda which sadly has come to an end. The food is awesome, thank you Dorcus, Hillary and Richard for the exceptional care. The forest walks, bonfires by the beach and jet skis were my absolute favourites. The view from the Deluxe room is absolutely awesome. I am definitely coming back next year.

Very accessible, staff very friendly and helpful during our stay and the Fish was delicious wouldn't miss that when on the island
