We planned a stakeholders meet for about 40 people at the lodge with a buffet lunch with some specific dietary requirements. The management was very cooperative initially. But on the day of the planned activity. We just walk into a facility with no prior arrangements as to where we would sit and hold a meeting let alone anyone to welcome and guide us. The managers then started blaming on each other on the shortfall of their duties . The specific diet )luncheon was not served but we had to pay for it as well. The manager was no where apologetic. It was overly priced for very poor service and attitude of the staff.

Visite chez les chimpanzés Très bel hôtel dans la région de Kibale. Chambre spacieuse et colorée équipée d'une belle terrasse qui donne sur le cratère du volcan, Excellent petit déjeuner à la carte dans le restaurant qui dispose d'une très belle vue. De plus elle dispose d'une belle piscine très rafraîchissante avec la chaleur ambiante. Personnel très serviable et très accueillant qui vous fait sentir comme chez vous.

Sehr schönes Zimmer, sehr gutes Essen. Malerisch gelegen an einem Krater, wunderbare Landschaft mit ausgezeichnetem Blick auf die Kraterränder. Gut aufzufinden da großes Schild an der Hauptstrasse. Freundliches Personal, immer höflich und ansprechbar.

Hotel decrépito donde lo único aceptable son las vistas sobre el lago. Las habitaciones están viejas y sucias. El baño es inaceptable, sucio y oscuro. La zona de restaurante sin comentarios y tanto el servicio de cenas como de desayuno malísimo. No lo recomiendo 😵

Lovely setting but not perfectly maintained Lovely setting, lovely staff, very good food, nice views. Pool was not well maintained, and the first floor in the otherwise lovely apartment with seaview that we had, was not cleaned recently. That gave a little too many insects in the room and we decided to stay just one night. It felt like the manager was on holidays, and they were not busy, since we were the only guests in the hotel at the time. Beware 4x4 is adviseable to get the last 2 kilometres from highway to crater rim.

Spacious rooms, magnificent view over the crater lake, and very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location to stay and combine the Chimpansee trekking at Kibale. They also helped arranging a local tour around for us. Definitely recommend!

Great place, nice staff and fabulous pizzas. No Wifi on the first day.

A beautiful setting for a simple, cozy, friendly lodge! Rooms are cheerfully decorated with local art and feature decks overlooking the property and pool on one side and the crater lake on the other. A few steps down from the lodge is a terrace overlooking the crater lake, the perfect place to have a bountiful English breakfast before starting out on the day's adventures. The parlor/bar inside is a casual setting for pizza and conversation upon your return. Mark, the lodge manager, was a professional and knowledgeable host, whether finding guides for each day's activities or a good spot for lunch, and his colleague, Rudyard, was an excellent and courteous driver. Bella Vista is a great base location for those planning to visit Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Kazinga Channel and Kibale National Park, etc.

Incredible place!! We went to Bella Vista Lodge to rest from a month trio around Uganda. And it has been our little oasis. The food was great, with different options (lagsane, salad, pasta, pizza, meat...). The room were awsome. We stayed in a room with a balcony to the lake. We had lunch there. We really have to thank to Francis, the manager and all the staff. They are all of them incredibly heloful and nice. They made our stay perfect. Ah!! And it has git a swimming pool!
