羅斯蕾旅館(Roseleigh)

One of if not THE best B&B’s we’ve stayed in. Everything was wonderful from location to comfort of rooms, quality of breakfast and friendliness of staff. We loved the atmosphere of a traditional old house right in the middle of Buxton with everything in easy walking distance. The owner greeted us outside to help with parking and spent a lot of time talking us through Buxton’s history and even gave us a superb route through the countryside back down to the M6 Toll Road. People often say it but ‘definitely be back’!

Well what a find !! An excellent spotlessly clean hotel, very comfy bed. Breakfast had such a good choice of cereals, yoghurts, fruit & preserves. When ordering cooked breakfast was served quickly. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend to others & will certainly stay again whenever we go to Buxton. Thank Gerrard & Maggie & staff

Really enjoyed our stay at Roseleigh Communication with the owners was good. We were very warmly welcomed and were given some information and excellent tips for the area including good places to eat, which worked out really well for us. The room was lovely and we enjoyed the antique furniture and features. We had two large armchairs in our dual aspect room, positioned by the window which overlooked the lake. We enjoyed being able to sit and watch the world go by whilst having a cuppa. Everything was very clean and of a high standard. Pillows very big and firm. We enjoyed our breakfasts, again, these were of a high standard. The hotel was in a quiet area and it was just a few minutes walk into the town for the main eating area/places of interest. The only thing I can think to improve our stay was to have a nozzle on the hairdryer!

Beautiful place to stay next to a stunning park in Buxton. The room was clean with lovely period features and the bed was really comfortable. There was a vegan breakfast for me which was a bonus - Linda McCartney sausages were lovely. My husband enjoyed his full English breakfast too. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming and we were given comprehensive information and recommendations for places to visit and eat at. Buxton itself is an amazing place full of places to visit, we did some walking in the Peak District which is close by. All in all we would highly recommend and we would stay again.

I have stayed several times and each time has been consistently really good. Having stayed in the UK and abroad over many years that’s so good to see but not easy to achieve. Great service, breakfast excellent. The room is very clean and comfortably equipped and has good toiletries. The collection of teas and coffees even includes hot chocolate. The hosts are very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Our second stay at the roseleigh...it was just as good as the first time we stayed their...nothing was too much trouble ..beds are very comfortable...rooms are spotless and I would like to mention the two girls who serve breakfast...both are very pleasant and professional and genuinely seem happy to look after you..Will definitely go again...

Roseleigh fully justifies its five star status for me. A warm and friendly greeting on arrival with some local history and sight seeing tips thrown in; possibly the best location in town along the pedestrian Broad Walk overlooking the Pavilion Gardens and short walk into the centre. Great breakfast included and a characterful, comfortable and quiet room which was very welcome after a full day's walking. Parking on site as a bonus, albeit a tight fit for some, but then historic Buxton wasnt really built around the motor car. Highly recommend and will definitely return next time I'm visiting Buxton.

This is a top quality guest house with beautiful views over the park and lake. The bedroom was large and clean. The breakfast was everything you could want and more. The location was very quiet but not far from the centre of Buxton. The hosts and staff couldn’t do more. We hope to return next year. Just go and enjoy.

This place is adorable and just what we needed after a few days of nonstop exploring in London. The owners are amazing and very attentive to guests. (My friend asked for cream with her coffee, and the gentleman explained that they don’t keep it in hand as it’s a rare request and ends up going bad but they have milk. She was perfectly fine with that - and only asked for cream because she thought it was more common and didn’t want to be an inconvenience. He went to the store anyway and bought cream for her!) Room was very comfortable and spacious. Gorgeous views of the pavilion park. Convenient walk to some pubs and shops. At the end of our evening, we sat in the cozy sitting room for a bit with Paddington before bed. Parking was very easy too. Overall - highly recommend for your Peak District stay!
