The charming hosts were so welcoming and helpful with suggestions of where to eat out. The location was stunning, next to the church and in a beautiful village. We thought that the room, Church View, was gorgeous, large and comfortable with a sumptuous bed, and lovely claw foot bath in the well appointed en-suite bathroom. We wished we could have stayed for longer and hope to return. The breakfast was simply delicious with plenty of choice and use of local produce. Highly recommended!

I did and it cost me £130. We booked three nights at what we thought was a high end accommodation and arrived to a pleasant welcome from the owner. She told us we would have to order breakfast online which we thought a bit strange, then took us up to a pokey little room furnished in a very old fashioned manner. I began to smell a rat and then discovered that the bathroom was not en-suite but down a corridor. The owner said there was an empty en-suite room but wanted to charge us even more then the £130p.n. we were already paying. We decided enough was enough and left to find alternative accommodation suited to our needs. Avoid!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Old Vicarage. Tricia and Andrew were the perfect hosts--friendly and conversational, and absolutely willing to go the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. They designed the delicious breakfasts according to our time frame, and there was very tasty cake and tea waiting for us after a day of being out and about. The rooms where we and our friends stayed were comfortable, immaculately clean, and very charmingly decorated. The Old Vicarage is located in the lovely village of Tideswell, in the Peak District, and our hosts were able to direct us to scenic places to visit and wonderful places to dine. We would love to go back for another visit, and we highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

What a beautiful B&B. The setting and location are excellent. The accommodation is traditional suited to this historic location. Comfortable rooms and beds. The owners/hosts are very welcoming. Nothing is too much. Breakfast was superb. We will be back.

Stayed for 5 nights . Room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a great welcome with tea and cake in the sitting room after our journey. Breakfast was delicious with local produce and Tricia and Andrew had so much local knowledge and tips of where to walk in the area and places to eat. A beautiful home and garden and we would go back again if we were in the area. Highly recommended.

This is a top tier b&b. Great location with a gorgeous garden overlooking the church. To be greeted with tea and delicious home made cake was so welcoming after walking all day. Very quiet, cosy bedrooms. Fab breakfasts with local or home made produce. The best breakfast and cake of our trip doing the Limestone Way. The hosts cater for every need. You really feel like you are being welcomed into their home. Would love to visit again. Thank you
