Waited 2 weeks to review, as complaint has been made.But nothing from them. Rude staff on reception, rude and pushy staff in pub attached. Smoking and swearing staff while they wait to clean rooms, all within earshot of young children. These issues were reported to reception when we left. Issues reported to customer relations andno response. I was a frequent stayer with Premier Inn with business and pleasure, but have now lost it. Obviously not bothered about paying customers.

Nice hotel close to the town 5min drive few places to get food next to the premier inn , The room was nice worth the money ...

Hotel rooms are clean and tidy in the staff are really friendly situated in the perfect location for us we do have a Premier Inn

Arrived eve Dec 25th. We'd booked in advance and asked for a specific room due to family requirements. As can understandably happen, wires were crossed and the room we'd requested hadn't been allocated, and hadn't been cleaned after the last guests. However, Freya who was on reception, went several extra miles by kindly cleaning the room herself, and was genuinely very happy to do so to help us out. Hope Freya can have some recognition for what she did for us. We've stayed here many times over the years and always have a genuinely warm and friendly welcome, any extra requests are dealt with in a kind way, nothing is too much trouble. Same is true in the Brewers Fayre next door, always welcoming, always friendly, food good standard for what you pay. The rooms are clean and adequate for what they are and for what you pay, the windows open in the old wing which can help some people if they need that. The old wing could do with sprucing up and updating, but it doesn't take anything away from quiet, convenient and friendly accommodation which are the things to concentrate on here. Good base if you are doing anything in Caerphilly/Cardiff area.

Arrived in heavy rain, warm reception at book in. Rooms were clean and tidy and quiet and reasonably priced. Able to park car FOC in car park outside hotel. When room ceiling leaked due to heavy rain receptionist very helpful and moved us straight away to adjacent room. Free good Wi-Fi. Ate meal deal in Brewers Fayre next door which was good in value and choice.

I enjoyed my brief stay at this hotel - it's the second time I've stayed. The room was great and the staff very friendly. It's on an estate, so there is a little bit of noise but nothing too bad.

Great location, shops and places to eat within easy access. Parking was easy. Staff were very friendly. We did have a light on the ceiling not working and loose toilet seat but stay was great.

Amazing staff! Kit the manager goes above and beyond to make sure my stay is catered for! Charmaine the receptionist is my personal hero! Always make me laugh and feel welcome on arrival and departure Cleaners! Too many to name personally are always on hand before 2pm to make sure my room is spotless! I couldn’t complement this hotel enough. And steve the Mainteneance man is the funniest human ever 😊

The staff were very helpful and friendly. This was the best of the 2 in the aera, in great need of renovation, the rooms were very warn down, the bathroom fans don't work and the bathrooms smell.

Decent hotel really. Fairly clean a little bit tired in places. Nice and quiet room. Food not too bad. It’s not five star but it’s value for money

Great little hotel tucked in behind a lovely pub. Service was good, air con worked a treat, and there wasn't any extra noise from traffic or neighbouring sites. A great night's sleep and the breakfast next door was top notch.

Nice and helpful staff, rooms were ok, but not great. Ok for a stop over. Brewers fair next door was good for a beer and a nice breakfast. I would stay again if in the area.

Very very disappointed, it looks very good for families with children , but first impression are usually incorrect as it turned out to be table booked, on arrival not allocated, soft play area a fee was required although we were purchasing a meal for five, as it was a nice day we sat in garden, what a joke very untidy quite dangerous screws loose on the eating tables kids pub I don’t think so
