金沙灣温泉酒店(Golden Haven Hot Springs)

It was noisy in the morning. The noise woke me up around 8am. They didn’t turn the warm jacuzzi light on when it was dark. The hot one had the light on. I thought the light went out but it was on when I was about to leave the warm jacuzzi around 7pm. I realized that they forgot to turn the light on. Also, they changed the pool gate code without notification. They should have texted me or wrote me a note. I saw some of the customers could not get inside. I went to open the gate for them. They didn’t know they changed the code. It was very inconvenient. Especially it was raining and we needed to go back and forth to get the new code from the reception desk.

The staff are very sweet. The room was big , however the water had a smell but went away after . However, what the receptionist told us it was the mineral water. Lots of good food/wine places around. Pricey but the mud bath was great !

This is a wonderful place for maximum relaxation. Very nice grounds to enjoy strolling around, and love the firepits in the evening. A warm, cozy feeling all around and staff so kind and accommodating. We love to visit Calistoga every so often, and it's very convenient to the downtown spots in staying here, yet in a very quiet location off the more beaten path. We weren't able to enjoy any of the spa deals, but we're coming back when we can. Everyone looks so happy and relaxed!

We had a wonderful time. Service was great. We enjoyed the mud bath and massage. We will definitely come back and recommend to our family and friends.

This little cute place was perfect. The mineral pool was lovely and clean and the room was super super comfy. I stayed here before going to the very fancy solage resort for an event and the bedding linens and bed was more comfortable than solage for hundreds more a night. The bed here was straight up heavenly and my room had a cute fireplace for ambiance. I slept with it on and it was total vibes! Clean and kind staff and they upgraded me to a room with a soaking tub. It took forever to fill the big tub but was a very nice plus. 10 outta ten for this very very well traveled gal. Would definitely stay again. This place isn't your fancy pants place but it's not ghetto either. It was a great value for the money and did I mention the bed was amazing? Epic level comfy sheets pillows mattress. Sink in and turn on the fireplace. This would be wonderful for couples.

We very much enjoyed our stay. I would recommend a midweek stay. Very comfortable accommodations.

When you drive into Golden Haven, you feel as if you have driven into a motel from the 80s. However, the look is deceptive, as the grounds are well kept, and the rooms spacious and clean. This was our 3rd time at Golden Haven, and each time has been a pleasant experience. For this trip, we had a room over the main building. The room was large with a king sized bed and plenty of room to move around. Refrigerator, coffee machine, and microwave were all included. The bed was comfortable, and the shades kept out the sunlight. The only slight knock for me was the bathroom was a bit small, though could be my personal preference. Check-in was very easy, as was check-out. The staff are friendly and efficient. The parking when you enter is a bit tight, though there is a large parking area in the back of Golden Haven. There is a large, heated pool plus jacuzzi's. Unfortunately, we did not get in this time due to our schedule. There is an outdoor sun deck over the pool with multiple lounge chairs. There are various fire pits around the property with seating, and a large area behind the hotel with stuff for kids and adults to do. Ping Pong, Cornhole, and bikes for guests to rent. Of course the highlight of Golden Haven is the mud bath package. My wife and I did the package that included mud baths, a refreshing mineral jacuzzi dip after that, and then into a relaxing room where we laid down with music.

My wife and I had the most amazing and relaxing mini vacation at Gold Haven Hot Springs. The property is well kept, clean, and safe. The staff are friendly and professional, and the heated pool is amazing, two jacuzzis, mud baths, and massage are all worth the reasonable costs of this resort. Will definitely stay again.

The place is off the main drag but an easy walk to restaurants and stores. The room was roomy, the pool and hot tubs were lovely. It is not trendy, but a lovely place to stay that is not ridiculously expensive, like many of the places in Calistoga.
