韋弗利酒店(The Waverley Hotel)

Went here for food whilst in the area. Food not as advertised on the menu the sweet chilli toasted ciabatta firstly arrived with bacon in it which I don’t eat. Sent it back and it arrived with a shred of lettuce on it (no peppers onions as described ) fish and chips ok but chips undercooked. Staff friendly and interior nice. Ok for a drink only but the food was inedible and a waste of money.

Decided to come here on the motorbike for lunch. This is our 4th time here, food never disappoints although I always get the steak pie it's my fave! Lovely atmosphere, decor is fab and the staff are friendly and attentive. Donna and the guy on the bar (sorry didn't get his name) were lovely, and polite. We always recommend this place to our friends and family, we intend too have an over night sometime in the future as it looks like it would be a good night for a few drinks too. 18th March 13.00pm

Went for lunch after stopping in the town, was absolutely brilliant! Food was so good and very quick service, Donna was so lovely and was a great hostess. Decor was beautiful and the pool table was a great touch too! Will definitely be back soon!

Stayed here between Christmas and new year for a two night break place is very good staff nice and friendly breakfast is superb nice and filling room was nice and clean stayed in most places in callander and this is one of the best we have stayed

Loved the hotel. Food was lovely. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Will stay there again.

Room was small and the wall between adjoining room very thin,could hear lots of noises and a fan from kitchen audible at various times through the night, carpet was not clean and had mud left on it. The bathroom towel rail,fan heater and above sink light were all inoperative,cistern flush button was sticking allowing water to continually flow,shower curtain was filthy. Hand and shower soap nearly empty. Bar area was fine,staff friendly,food is mediocre and typical chain pub fayre,steak was tasteless. Breakfast was very poor,everything deep fried and cheap quality,no orange juice or bananas as advertised,bread almost stale,toaster not plugged in.

Food was lovely as with the service. One of the best Greene Kings we've been too. Thanks to the manager and James the cheif for such lovely hospitality. Hopefully we will be back soon. Thanks again. Lynsey x

Popped in for lunch after wandering a long the high street decided this looked good especially as dogs are welcome. We received excellent service and the food was great. Really glad we popped in. Staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely nice. Service was quick and food really good. Great choice on menu absolutely something for everyone. Fair prices considering it’s Callander and can be quite expensive in tourist areas. Would definitely recommend. Even better you can sit inside with your dog and they can get a drink too

A lovely place to stay, great food, great room and a warm welcome from all the staff but a particular mention to the very considerate landlord who made sure we had everything we needed.. We had the family room which was a great layout with plenty of space for us all. Menu and bar choices excellent, from breakfast to dinner the food was just right particularly enjoyed the Sunday roast! Big thanks to the team for looking after us. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring this part of Scotland. Look forward to a return trip!
