索託斯戴拉住宿加早餐旅館(Bed and Breakfast Sotto le Stelle)

Dopo dieci giorni itineranti, tra Siracusa e Agrigento, abbiamo chiuso la vacanza salendo ai quasi mille metri di Caltabellotta. La vista che domina, il castello che si arrampica, la cattedrale solitaria e imponente. Ma soprattutto gli abitanti, disponibili e fieri. Uno di questi, possiamo dirlo il più importante, è il grande scultore Salvatore Rizzuti, scoperto dietro le vetrine del suo studio, che si apre al pubblico in una via che taglia il paese, mentre innalzava nel legno una figura di donna dallo sguardo assassino e compiaciuto. Mezz'ora del suo tempo e del suo racconto ci hanno scaldato il cuore. E poi salire al chiosco dei The Brother, dove vedere l'Italia proiettata su un telone appoggiato alla roccia, spiluccando fritti e calando un ruffiano Zibibbo secco. E godersi poi la 'movida' del dopo, con Salvatore, uno dei fratelli gestori, che mesceva e offriva a un ritmo forsennato. Generosità, energia, gusto. E il B&B? direte. Tutto questo ha una fine e un inizio Sotto le stelle, nella camera degna di un soggiorno reale ma dal prezzo popolare. Dove c'è più di quello che un viaggiatore chiede. Tutto questo inizia e finisce con Giuseppe, l'inventore di questa piccola oasi incastonata tra i vicoli ripidi del paese, ma anche proprietario del ristorante adiacente, Mates, che non abbiamo potuto assaggiare per via dell'Italia Belgio, irrinunciabile, oltre che di terreni coltivati a mandorli e limoni, frutti che hanno scandito i nostri giorni siciliani. Imprenditore del sud che ha visione del futuro, affabilità, ironia, e un'intelligenza rapida. Insomma, il nostro è un enorme Grazie. Un giorno solo, un ricordo profondo.

I spent one week in this hotel! It was great time, hotel is clean and very comfortable, beautiful rooms with a great panoramic view of Sicilia Giuseppe and His Family is very kind and caring! Localization is very good, about 20 km to beautiful beaches, about 40 km to Corleone For sure I will visit them again!!!

We visited this B&B 7 years ago and had enjoyed it so much we decided to revisit on this trip to Sicily. Giuseppe and his family again welcomed us and made us feel at home. Rooms are large with good ensuite. We ate at the family restaurant MATES and can highly recommend it - very tasty food and good value for money. Caltabellotta is a very picturesque place and deserves a few days to wander around up the steep streets to enjoy the views and historic sites. We had problems with our hire car and Giuseppe went above and beyond to help us sort out a solution. He also oversaw the collection of the car by the car hire company after we had left - that was very kind of him and much appreciated by us, as our Italian was not good enough to negotiate with the car hire firm. Thank you Giuseppe and all the very best.

It was a beautiful room. Very clean

Incredible room , antique , authentic , giant , and perfectly cleaned . Location is perfect , and the service is outstanding . The breakfast is great , simple and authentic with lots of options and in a beautiful salon . The bed is very big and very comfortable , the place is super quiet ! What more can you want . I felt I was sleeping on an aristocratic family house from the 19 century ! Loved it ! I would stay there again !

A wonderful B&B. The host was nice and attentive without making you feel it was to much. Just perfect. He recomended a really nice family restaurant close by. He also sells a very good family olive oil and more. Loved it!

What a quaint and charming place with a lot of character. My husband I stayed there for two nights while we were in caltobellota. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The place is much larger than it appears on the outside. The balconies are very cute and Giuseppe the owner was very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay.
