This accommodation was excellent. for us.It was situated in a tiny village with only one local pub, which was ideal for us. Cambridge is only 10miles away. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The Lodge was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. A nice touch was a plate of fairy cakes and a jar of cookies to welcome you. There was also a jug of milk in the fridge. The bed was sublime. Extremely soft and comfortable. I normally only manage 3-4 hours sleep daily, but on our two night stay i slept right through both nights. Breakfast was a full English delivered to our door, and it was delicious. I can't recommend this place and it's host highly enough. If I'm visiting the area again Thorn House will definitely be my first choice.

Loved our stay at Thorn House, our little bungalow was quaint with comfortable furnishings and everything that you might need, the bed was extremely comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. Our hot breakfast of sausage, egg, bacon and toast was delivered to our door each morning and was delicious I only, our host was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble... Can thoroughly recommend and we would definitely stay again

The host is very friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The accommodation is spacious with a separate bedroom and living room. In the morning, full English breakfast is served. There is a lovely pub nearby and there are good walks around the nearby lakes. All in all, great location and good value for money.

Thorn House is a welcoming and well-equipped bed and breakfast, perfect for both leisure and work. We really enjoyed our self-contained space with thoughtful amenities, including a microwave and fridge. The separate bedroom was cosy and warm, and even had its own television. Fresh milk and very welcomed cupcakes were provided on arrival. A freshly cooked and excellent breakfast was delivered in the morning. The nearby Three Tuns pub offers excellent dining. A highly recommended base for exploring Cambridge and the local area. I wish we had stayed longer. Thank you

We had a lovely weekend break at Thorn House. The host was very welcoming and gave us tips for things to do in Cambridge. The pub around the corner (the three tuns) is great and the food was 👌. We were welcome with a plate of cupcakes and a delicious breakfast was delivered every morning. We highly recommend thorn house if are looking for a base to explore the local area and Cambridge 🙂.
