A great place to stay. Not far from centre of Cambridge. Extremely clean and very spacious. Great bathroom with wonderful facilities. Very modern and because of the gated access it felt very safe. Laura and the team are very helpful and ensured our stay was first rate. I warmly recommend this property. If staying for longer than a couple of nights, you may want to use park and ride. You can park to drop off suitcases but free car parking is rare. It cost us £35 for just over 2 days.

Great apartment in a very convenient location. 20 minute walk from the train, 15 to the city centre (market square, etc). Slightly inconvenient that you have to call the management company 1 hour in advance ilof arriving so that they can send an agent with keys; I would have preferred an access code sent electronically. But overall a great place to stay in Cambridge.

Spacious Two-Level Apt Close to the Park Midsummer Mews was a comfortable base of operations for our exploration of Cambridge. Really quite close (1.5 blocks) from the entrance to Midsummer Park and the riverside paths to town. There is a mall(!) halfway down the block, and a Waitrose very close by for excellent food. The apt complex is a bit like Fort Knox, but once you figure out the gate and door locks you’re good to go. Gate was a bit tricky at times to open from the inside, something to do with the release button not always unlocking the gate door. Helpful to have 2 (or more) people for egress. Apt was nicely appointed, could have been a bit cleaner in the corners, etc, but good enough. The bedroom is down some somewhat treacherous stairs, but thankfully we had no issues. Nice that there was a washer/dryer. Though when washer was running, pump could become overwhelmed and the shower wouldn’t drain effectively. We learned not to shower when the washer was running! The beauty of a subterranean bathroom…. Also a half-bath upstairs, though only one window opened in the whole place and just a crack, at that. We left the door open to mitigate the stuffiness. Otherwise, we were very happy at this location! Bit of a walk from the train station with our luggage, would’ve done better to grab a cab. Great communication with CityStay staff.

Spacious rooms, nice kitchen, next to the mall, walkable to the campus and major attractions. But there are couple of big spiders in the downstair room, and one climbs to our bed during our sleep.

Not too bad. The location is really convenient, the hotel offers nice food and drinks..etc. I do enjoy it except the shower room is not easy to use, and there’s no washing tablets offered, the dryer doesn’t really work as the clothes was wet after drying hours.
