I was not able to stay at this hotel due to an accident that happened in the week prior to my intended stay. In the accident, I fractured multiple ribs and was not able to travel to Boston by plane or car. I called the hotel on 6/16 and spoke to Jordan requesting that the hotel make an exception in their refund policy in light of my unique medical conditions (and offered to provide medical documentation). I also spoke to a representative at ******* (where the booking was originally made) and they said the decision on the refund of $238 was up to Hotel 1868. The Hotel 1868 denied my request for a refund. My son will be attending Harvard University and we anticipated staying at Hotel 1868 multiple times in the future. It is unfortunate that the management at Hotel 1868 feels that retaining $238 is worth losing a customer and the associated future business. I am sure that as it is summer in my "paid for room" was rented anyway so they made double. I am providing this feedback so hopefully the next customer with this situation will be treated differently. Regards, David Stacy
