安克爾酒店(Akol Hotel)

Hotel Akol is located on the seafront promenade on the Dardanelle straits. It is a short 5-minute drive from the ferry terminal. The hotel has a nice seafood restaurant on its terrace which has great views of the straits and excellent seafood. The room that I had was huge. It had a separate living and dining area. The seaview from the balcony was great too.

Disgusting, dirty and 3rd graded hotel!! This hotel has rated themselves as a comfort and 4 star hotel but their online reviews and pics don't match the reality at all. They are a dirty, substandard and disgusting hotel. When I checked in all rooms were smelling of intense smoke- the non smoking ones as well! The bell boy was trying to influence the decision of the receptionist by saying there was no smoke smell. When I insisted and fought, they changed the room but even the non smoking rooms smelt of smoke. Once I checked in I was surprised to see the interiors were 3rd graded and below standard and were equivalent to a budget hotel. The walls had paint and stickers peeling off. The furniture had burn mark stains from cigarettes. There were some random stains on the walls. The air condition was a split unit and there was a big structure in the room making it ugly. Room setup too was congested and not well planned and spacious. Luckily I have only one night here and unfortunately this was prepaid through my tour agent (roadrunners) and hence I could do nothing about it. But had it been my own booking I would definitely cancel it and switch to another decent and class hotel. And to add to all the misery I just discovered the air conditioning isn't working. I opened the Google reviews and found that many people have complained about this in the past so it's not something they can post an excuse about. They know that their ac doesn't work. When I called the reception to inform about this she told me to open the windows...seriously!!!!!!! Is this your customer service. I will further write about this to a Consumer rights authority in Turkey or some authority where this review is taken into Consideration and they will be penalised for this.

Best hotel in Çanakkale. Friendly staff, spacious and comfortable rooms. If you are visiting Troy or the battlefields, do not think twice, this is the hotel you'd want to stay. The location is fantastic. It's right by the coast and the port. The breakfast is excellent. There's really nothing negative about this hotel.

Very nice hotel with great staff and great views. Also enjoyed the pub downstairs. Close to city center and other attractions including the Trojan Horse from Hollywood. Open buffet breakfast. Recommended for families and couples. A/C in the rooms and fish restaurant at hotel as well

La ubicación del hotel es ESPECTACULAR y nos brindaron muy buen servicio, el desayuno fue DELICIOSO y fue una estadía muy cómoda por la limpieza y comodidad del hotel. MUY BONITO. Lo único que no hablan inglés pero aún así, hicieron lo posible por entendernos

40 kişilikarkadaş gurubumuzla gittik ve 2 gece kaldık . Otel rahat ve düzenli ancak ilk girişde gece yardımcı personel olmadığı için biraz kabulde misafir kabulü gibi olmadı . Yardım etmeye koşturan resepsiyon memuru dışında sadece bir genç bey vardı . Görevi neydi bilinmez ama herşeye , yol göstermekten asansöre götürmeye kadar yetişmeye çalıştı . Sonra bir sorun yaşamadan güzel güzel kaldık . En üst kattaki balık lokantası konumu ve lezzetleri çok iyi . Amaaa feci bir müzik , servis ekibi çok mutsuz . O kadar iç sıkıcı müzik! Çalıyor ki herkes geriliyor . Tek bir güleryüzle koşturan misafir ağırlayan servis ekibinden genç Ramazan bey vardı ona özelikle teşekkür ederiz. .
