Requested a first floor room d/t physical limitations, room was on second floor. When we entered room,all seemed to be fine until I went to plug my phone in. There were paper napkins underneath the low "cabinet" the television sat on,and no available plug. Pulled the bed side stand out to plug in there and there was trash and toys behind it. The toilet was clogged and one of the pillowcases had a smear of something on it. The front desk clerk who was very kind, helpful and friendly (only good part of stay) got us another room, unfortunately still on second floor, and there was no remote to television. After another trip downstairs to front desk the clerk spent 25 min trying to set up remote. There was a dog in another room that barked incessantly. When leaving my handicapped son slipped on wrappers (assumed to be from the free " breakfast") and fell down the stairs. Not a pleasant experience at all. We travel a lot and have never had such an experience.
