Was an amazing stay in the city

The hotel aims for a hip atmosphere. My room was fine, with a side view to Table Mountain. The front desk people were quite friendly but not super organised. When I arrived at 3, I was told my room would be ready by 4 (it was 5). They temporarily lost a bag I left with them, until I found it in the back of the luggage room. They said their key-card-making machine wasn't working, so they escorted me to the room to let me in and said they'd bring a key by later (didn't happen). Finally, on check-out I was told I owed 30-something rand for taxes, and no, they didn't have change for my 50 rand note.

The hotel has major construction work and one day in particular was very noisy with drilling etc from 8am to 4pm. Neither ******* or the hotel had contacted me informing of the works and allowing a change of hotel at no charge. The works look as they could be going on for sometime. Without the construction I would score the hotel much higher and the staff were super throughout my stay. Also great location and good breakfast.

Der Empfang und der Service waren sehr angenehm. Wir hatten nicht viel Zeit, wurden gut beraten. Getränke zum mitnehmen war sehr angenehm. Die Lage ist toll, man fühlt sich dort sehr wohl.

From the moment we walked inside the hotel, the staff was extremely friendly and engaging. The room was very comfortable and we slept well. The hotel has a perfect location for V&A and easy to catch an Uber ride to other destinations. This stay exceeded my expectations! Thank you!

Clean, quiet rooms in the Silo District, just a few steps from the V&A Waterfront and a safe walk to the CTICC. Rooms facing the waterfront had a small balcony which was great for enjoying morning coffee. The roof has a bar and food truck as well nice view of sunset over the stadium as well as Table Mountain.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent hotel facilities. Nice roof top pool / bar with views of table mountain. Rooms are big with large beds. V&A area is all walkable and has loads of restaurants / shops. Sealions in the V&A marina and dolphins in the bay. Cape town is an impressive city, people are vibrant and friendly.
