Overview: Staff: 5/5 The Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Upon arrival, you receive a welcome drink and snack while given a brief introduction to the facilities, during which your bags are carted away to your room. Hotel Room: 5/5 The rooms at the hotel are spacious, clean, and well-laid out. The rooms are a combination of Victorian and modern. The bathroom comes filled with all the accessories you may have run out of while traveling through South Africa. Note: Make sure to ask what is complimentary vs. what is charged to your room regarding fridge and snack draws. The Cadogan is located on local streets, and honestly, there is no need to use the snack bar since these snacks are readily available a short distance from the hotel. During colder nights, turn-down service is provided, where they leave warmers in your bed! It's an added touch of excellence that leaves you thinking how thoughtful this establishment is. (Who wants to come back to a cold bed?!?!?!?) Hotel Grounds: 5/5 After exploring Cape Town, you can grab a drink or snack and relax in their lounge; on colder nights, the fireplace is an added touch where you can sit around and recap your adventures or plan your next day of events before returning to your room. There is a 24-hour gym that you have access to, which is small in comparison but decently sized to carry all you need to get a complete workout in if you want to work off all the exquisite food you devoured the previous day. There are shared and personal pool areas around the facilities, all giving you an excellent view of Table Mountain on clear days. Continental breakfast is served daily in the dining section of the hotel, providing you with a variety of choices and chef-prepared specials. You can also enjoy dinner at The Cape. Alternatively, you can head out and experience the nightlife by the pier or even close by one of the nearby restaurants or bars. The hotel is located in the heart of Cape Town, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with many options, including fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, and bacon. Location: 5/5 Located less than a 15-minute drive from Table Mountain, the V&A Waterfront and a short walk from plenty of local shops and restaurants set the tone that you'll always have things to do. This Victorian-style home is nestled in a relatively quiet neighborhood. The most noise we experienced was the birds chirping in the morning, setting the tone for the day. Spectacular stay!!!! We were looking for a smaller boutique hotel in a great location and were so glad we found this hotel. The service here was 10/10 Breakfast was incredible The pool is adorable Rooms are sooo so so cool! Will be back! Thanks to everyone who made our stay so wonderful

This place is exceptional, all the staff are wonderful and so helpful. We loved Cape Town and we loved Cape Cadogan it’s like a home from home. Can’t thank the team enough! We will be back in Cape Town and we will be staying at the Cape Cadogan. Thank you

The only negative was the salt & pepper pots! Absolutely loved everything about this hotel, the staff were friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble, from booking trips to advising restaurants. The room was so comfortable, as was the bed. The little touches like the freshly baked cakes in the afternoon or the canapés freshly made all complimentary! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Cape Cadogan for making our stay in Cape Town a memorable one. 💕💕

1. We loved the hotel and would highly recommend. 2. We had two rooms, both were excellent. 3. Breakfast every morning was delicious. 4. Our first night in Cape Town, we had dinner at their restaurant, Upper Union. Quite frankly it was the BEST dinner we had in CT and we visited two other popular A+ establishments. 5. We walked to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront from Cadogan (my husband and I are in our 60's and it was easy) and took a 4.00 US, Uber back to the hotel. 6.All in all, a fabulous experience.

This hotel was beautiful. Everything from the lobby, to our room to the attached restaurant. The staff was amazing, I got sick during my stay and they took great care of me going above and beyond. The attached restaurant was great, we had breakfast there every morning and had dinner there as well. The location is perfect to be walking distance to restaurants and bars along kloof st and long st, as well as a short drive from table mountain and the botanical gardens. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Cape Town!!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The building had a wonderful style. The room was spacious and charming and included a comfy bed, a patio with a view, customizable lighting, large bathroom, and food/drink options. The location is also quite convenient.

Stayed for four nights -Super sized room, quiet, peaceful hotel, first class staff, all friendly and willing to help in any way they can. Great little extras included. On site restaurant really good, evening meal we had was excellent, breakfast good but service was a little slow at times

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff. I would give 5 stars except that, unknown to us, there is major construction going on as they expand into the next door building making their beautiful pool area unusable. We would return once that is done.
