We have stayed at many places in South Africa, in my opinion Glen Avon was the best place I have been. The comfort is top, service is excellent; one of us was sick and they went out of their way to assist us. Service with humour and a smile! The neighourhood is also lovely, nice shops and restaurants close by (restaurant for the guests on location is also available and very good). We will go back next year!

Very nice lodge with very friendly staff. The rooms are well equipped and spacious. Very nice pool area with comfortable loungers. There are plenty of parking spaces available. The breakfast terrace has a beautiful view of the garden and makes for a good start to the day. The breakfast buffet could be a bit more extensive. Depending on the wind direction you can hear the road.

normally we travelled scoring quite a kilometers covering this great country , visiting lodges as often as posiible for a few days. this time it was completely different; we stayed at one place for 9 days in the beautiful winery suburb of Constantia . We were overwhelved with the best hospitality , all staff were laughing and enjoying our company ; it felt like that. It was a five star luxury in our pleasant suite with great staff zissling around at any given moment. Breakfast was great on a sunny porch and diner was served in a beautiful diner room , with a touch of english style. We will be back

Very tranquil and safe in the lovely area of Constantia. Great breakfasts and all staff very helpful. Very clean and great service. Did not dine there but people seem to have a good time. Definitely come back here again.

Glen Avon is well located, very comfortable with good service. Nice gardens with lovely pool. Good breakfasts on terrace overlooking the garden. Rooms have efficient aircon, good bathrooms and king size beds.

A warm thank you to Glen Avon for a comfortable stay at your beautiful lodge. The lodge is very well situated in Constantia , one of the nicest parts of Cape Town. We enjoyed a few days of sight seeing and visiting family. Would 100% recommend to others. It had a nice laid back feel but was immaculate and the staff were excellent. Breakfasts were healthy, tasty and filling. We only had dinner there one night but that was great as well.

Without any doubt we would highly recommend Glen Avon to anyone visiting Cape Town. Beautiful setting and the location is perfect for getting around Cape Town. Glen Avon is not just another hotel but a private, peaceful retreat with a staff that is helpful, personable and goes the extra mile to make one feel at home in South Africa. We will return and plan to book our vacation early!

Excellent service and character. Great staff and rooms were wonderful. Very accommodating with our requests. Would recommend this to any visitors to Cape Town if you are looking for a more intimate and secluded setting. Location is excellent for Winelands and surrounding areas of Cape Town.
