哈珀斯之家(Harpers House)

A perfect stay if you are looking for a beautiful, updated but also charming, clean and comfortable stay at a guesthouse that has personality. The breakfasts were very good especially the juice and creamy coconut oats and the staff are incredibly friendly. Great location for me as i was looking for a place that was in a quieter neighbourhood but also close to the waterfront. I also stayed in hotels near the v&a and simpler guest houses in camps bay but harpers house was my favourite. It is an older building however so i was mindful to be more quiet as the walls are not as soundproof compared to regular buildings. I stayed here as a solo female traveler and loved it - i wasn’t looking to meet other travelers for this part of my stay but more a comfortable and cute place to go back to after my activities in the day. Its very easy and reasonable to get around Cape Town in ubers so this location was perfect.

We stayed at harpers house at the end of Oct. in 2022 and it was the best accomodation of our SA-Tour. The rooms are clean and nice, with a lot of love for detail and good equipped. The breakfast was delicious and plenty, prepared by a very lovely and great staff. The Location itself is great in a sidestreet at GreenPoint, quiet neihborhood, but well located with bakery, restaurant, supermarket& liquorstore near by, also just a few minutes Uber-Ride from V&A-Waterfront. A beatiful outside area with trees&birds just in front of the balconies. Safe Parking-Space on the property. We felt safe and very warm welcomed and treated like good friends. Great location—it was secure and very easy to walk to the waterfront. It was also very easy to catch an Uber on the relatively low-traffic street. The property itself is clearly very well managed, the staff are very friendly, and the included breakfast was fantastic.

The service is amazing. It’s decorated so beautifully. We loved every minute of our stay here and cannot wait to return I especially loved the bathroom decor and the shower gel provided, great smelling and felt very premium

Heerlijk hotel , smaakvol ingericht , zeer vriendelijk personeel. Sommige kamers zijn klein, maar dat neem je graag voor lief. Keuze ontbijt, gratis water/koffie en thee op de kamer. Neem wel de tijd voor het ontbijt, het uitserveren gaat niet zo snel , maar dan krijg je wel wat!

A great find. Lovely location, great breakfast and lovely staff. Parking was free and very useful Was able to walk into The waterfront and enjoy all that it offers. Was located opposite the stadium.

What a lovely boutique hotel in Cape Town! We loved the style of the room, the delicious breakfast and the friendly service. We were on the first floor and were able to hear people moving around upstairs, so I would request an upstairs room if I were staying again.

We stayed at Harpers House for 4 nights at the beginning of our 10 day stay in South Africa. The hotel is in a great location, a 15 minute walk to the V&A but far enough away that you’re away from all the hustle and bustle of the centre. The hotel is stunning, staff are friendly, pillows are huge! Breakfast is wonderful. My only negative for this hotel is the rooms are a bit noisy, which was frustrating when people were up early on one of the mornings during our stay for a large bike ride. The hotel do provide earplugs and this was only an issue on 1 night/morning. Other than this we had a great stay
