Very nice and clean room and bath. Short walking distance to the V&A Waterfront. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast had everything we needed. Pool was refreshing. Parking in front of the property.

Excellent Guest house. Well. positioned in Green Point. Steps are an issue if you are less mobile. Excellent breakfast . Good value. Well positioned for restaurants and bars, Steep approach may prove to be a challenge

Everything was ok. Especially the warm and friendly together with Miriam and Gina and her help in every matter! The breakfast was really fine and special wishes has been fulfilled. The location is quite and safe.

We selected the accommodation for location and found it to be a good find. Very comfortable, clean and the staff are very helpful. 15 minutes walk to the V&A waterfront. Would recommend if you need this area.

We had booked, paid in full and had confirmation of Accomodation at Portview Guesthouse. My two elderly guests left JHB for CT very excited and arrived at the guesthouse at 5pm ….with evidence in hand as to the confirmation. But we’re turned away with no explanation accept that an email was sent to say they cannot accommodate. The evidence of the email was not even to the our address but some invalid address but they stuck by their explanation and turned the guests away. With a mining conference and cricketers in CT the Accomodation in CT was full and our guests were forced to stay at a friends house! If you make the assumption your booking is confirmed then be warned it’s not a guarantee and the guesthouse is not willing to even assist and relinquishes any accountability for their part in it! What was disappointing was the lack of humanity that two 70 year olds were treated in that manner. I had another owner of a guesthouse c that was full offer to help me call their partner guesthouses for Accomodation, which is what I would have expected the port house manager to at least offer considering they knew it was no fault of ours! I cannot leave a review regarding the Accomodation as we never stayed there but I can leave one about the shocking inhumane behaviour as well as the lack of guarantee l that when u pay for Accomodation you Will still get turned away

On my arrival, I was met at the gate. The staff were very friendly and the reception was very good. I was asked if I needed anything additional, but I was fine with what was in the room. Except for a few noisy people that were around, I had a pleasant stay.

Very nice and comfortable guest house for a quick weekend getaway. Would recomend to put in a mirror in the room itself not only in the bathroom. And check the bathroom door handle, no space for your hand between the handle and the doorframe to close the door which causes you to pinch you fingers.

Well located near the V & A Waterfront and near the Cape Town Stadium. Small but nice guesthouse with friendly and reliable service. The government-ordered power cuts (load shedding) (daily of 2-1/2 hours, sometimes several times a day) throughout the Cape Town region are a nuisance.

We were kindly welcomed even late at night. The room were clean and pretty, and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and served with smile. The location is close enough to go to the waterfront walking for the whole family.
