Nettes kleines Guesthouse mit nur 4 Zimmern. Diese sind ausreichend groß und mit Kaffeemaschine, TV, AC, Föhn und bequemen Betten ausgestattet. Im Garten ist ein kleiner Pool an dem man auch frühstückt. Tino der Host ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wer Ruhe sucht in einer sicheren Gegend ist hier richtig

Notre vol arrivait très tôt au Cap et ils nois ont proposé un early check-in sans frais supplémentaires! Tout s’est très bien passé. Bien situé. Bon petit déjeuner, piscine superbe, bon conseils de Tino et prestations generales très satisfaisantes. Je recommande ++

Wir hatten ein schönes helles und sehr gepflegtes Zimmer mit einem hübschen Sitzplatz auf der Terrasse. Der Blick in den Garten lässt alle Sorgen vergessen; er lädt zum Relaxen ein - beschauliche, gemütlich ausgestattete Sitzecken. Einfach herrlich! Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal war jederzeit hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich.

Hôtel très sympa et très bien placé pour visiter Cape Town. Les chambres sont grandes, confortables et très propres. La décoration magnifique. Nous avons bien profiter de la terrasse où nous avons pris tous nos petits déjeuners (excellents!), du jardin et de la piscine. Paddington a rendu notre séjour parfait. Et nous avons même eu la chance de rencontrer David, le propriétaire, lors de notre dernier jour sur place. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. N hésitez surtout pas à venir découvrir ce petit havre de paix.

Hôtel cosy, chambres spacieuses, propres et décorées avec goût. Le personnel (merci à Paddington, Tino pour leur accueil et leur sourire) a été aux petits soins avec nous. Le dépaysement est total lorsque vous arrivez dans l’hôtel, un oasis de verdure dans la ville. L’hôtel est très bien situé, dans un endroit sûr. Nous reviendrons !

Petit guest house plein de charme, la chambre est spacieuse et très bien équipée, literie confortable, le personnel est adorable et pleins d'attentions, super petit déjeuner, place de parking devant le guest house. Tout était absolument parfait nous recommandons cet hébergement au rapport qualité / prix inégalable

We returned for the second time to Cape Standard guest house, because it makes us feel like coming home. The room is comfortable in every way. The whole botanic vibe makes it feel like you are in a remote area, when you are in a busy town. But you only hear the birds, no traffic or what so ever. Tino was (again) the perfect host as he did everything to make our stay comfortable. Also the other people working there are friendly/welcoming. Tino and the owner gave us good advice in which places to see, things to do and where to eat. Will definitely visit again when coming to Cape Town!!

We have recently returned from a very enjoyable stay at Cape Standard. All the staff were excellent particularly Tino who looked after us very well and dealt with all our questions promptly , efficiently and with a smile. We stayed in one of the ground floor rooms with a seating area which was perfect for our two week stay. We thoroughly enjoyed Cape Town and our stay in the Cape Standard. We would certainly recommend a stay there.

Tino could not have been more welcoming and helpful during our stay. Such a positive and upbeat host! I think of Cape Standard as an oasis in Cape Town Central. From our spacious suite we could step out onto a patio and pool with abundant landscaping. Very quiet neighborhood. Convenient walk to stroll the oceanfront promenade, eateries, and such. And breakfast! I would have been happy with coffee and the most delicious rolls, but that was followed with a grand selection from yogurt, fruit, cheese tray, and THAT was followed with a breakfast entree choice of eggs and such. Tino's staff was very professional, not intrusive or dismissive. Just right. We spoke with a woman who often travels for business in Cape Town. This is where she always stays. Having experienced the hospitality and well-appointed accommodations, no wonder Tino conveys such pride in Cape Standard. Thank for your warm welcome, Tino.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in Cape Town. The place isn’t huge, and that’s exactly what makes it so special It’s warm, welcoming, and has a very personal, human touch. The view was absolutely stunning, and the breakfast each morning was delicious. Tino was incredibly kind, attentive, and always had a smile on his face. He really made us feel at home. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. But what makes this stay truly unforgettable is that it marks the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in our lives, it’s during this trip that our family story quietly began to grow. We can’t wait to return one day next time, as a family of three.

Fabulous guest house just a very short taxi ride from the V&A Waterfront and in the other direction Seapoint. Tino and the team are brilliant and so friendly - nothing is too much trouble. The bedrooms are immaculate and are refreshed daily as are the en-suites. Breakfast is excellent and is served around the beautiful pool unless it is raining when it is served inside the very comfortable outdoor cabana. You will love it here. 5 star ++.

This is a great little place! A quick Uber to the waterfront, and set in a quiet residential road, it's a proper oasis of peace and quiet (apart from the squawking Ibis, maybe!!) We were in the ground floor room, looking out over the pool. The bed was really comfortable. Storage is minimal, but that was ok. Nice shower. The outside area is really pretty with plenty of greenery and places to lounge around and also have breakfast, when the weather allows. Tino, the host, is a great guy, full of useful tips and recommendations and he really helped us out a lot when we had a series of problems with our hire car (Avis, if you need a non-recommendation!) Breakfast is lovely, fab rolls from a local bakery and both continental and cooked options. Thoroughly recommend.

Staying at Cape Standard is a treat. From the moment of booking, everything is pleasant; communication is rapid and clear, our late check-in was no problem and Paddington had organised a little snack and a beer for us, which is very much needed after an eleven hour flight. The street and neighbourhood is quiet and how lovely it is to wake up in a green hideaway in the middle of Greenpoint. David, the owner, is an incredible host and extremely funny! Can't wait to return at the end of April. Happy to have found Cape Standard and I will now consider it our home whenever we're in Cape Town.

The Cape Standard is a small, four room boutique hotel tucked away on the edge of Sea Point in Cape Town. Over the years I have stayed in this hotel about 6 times on that tells you just what a special and delightful place it is. Located on a very quiet cul-de-sac with adequate safe free car parking the hotel is within a 3-minute walk of the promenade and has a delightful, informal breakfast area set around a small swimming pool. It is an oasis of calm in an otherwise busy city. Our large bedroom had a comfortable double bed, good wardrobe storage, a flat screen TV, excellent wi-fi, tea and coffee facilities, a fridge with a mini bar, a sofa and a small desk for working. The room led out onto the swimming pool area where there were sun loungers. What makes this place so special is not only the excellent quality of the accommodation and the convenient location (the wonderful open air Sea Point sea point swimming pools are about a mile away) but also the personal welcome from the owner David and his very efficient and personable manager, Tino. I have stayed at many hotels around the world on this one excels in the personal welcome and attention that you receive. It was and will remain my ‘go to’ hotel in Cape Town and I unreservedly recommend it to you.
