Ein wunderbares., familiär geführtes Haus mit sehr viel Charm und einem fantastischem Service. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Eines vorweg: Ein Schnäppchen ist Abbey Manor nicht. Aber Qualität muss eben bezahlt werden. Und das, was Anja und ihr Team hier, in einem sehr schönen Viertel Kapstadts, auf die Beine stellen, ist in der Tat erstklassig. Sie führen ein nobles Gästehaus am Fuß des Tafelbergs, den man von der superben Dachterrasse bewundern kann - einschließlich des Blicks auf die sehenswerte Skyline Kapstadts. Wir hatten erst das Zimmer 4, bei dem uns der Blick von der Terrase auf eine Baustelle gestört hatte, und sind dann umgezogen in Zimmer 8, das uns mit eigener Terrasse gleich neben dem großen Pool sehr gefallen hat. Toll war das Frühstück mit super Eierspeisen, die frisch zubereitet wurden. Das Haus liegt etwas am Rand der City, was aber nicht stört, weil die Verbindung z.B. zur Waterfront mit Uber völlig problemlos und günstig ist. Alles in allem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Gästehaus. Hier gibt es kaum etwas zu verbessern bzw. auszusetzen. Der Service ist mega, außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das wunderschöne kleine Haus erfüllt alle Anforderungen und unseren Ansprüchen. Die Zimmer sind im englischen Stil liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet Pan Cakes, Rühr- und Spiegelei … zubereitet und serviert. Wein, Bier usw können günstig im Hotel erworben werden. In wenigen Minuten ist die Innenstadt/Waterfront am besten per Uber zu erreichen. An der Stelle ganz herzlichen Dank an Mico und Helga! Natürlich auch an das restliche Personal.

Unsere Zeit in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft in Kapstadt war einfach unvergesslich! Die Lage ist perfekt – in einer sehr schönen und sicheren Gegend mit traumhaftem Blick auf Stadt und Küste auf der einen Seite und den Tafelberg auf der anderen. Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind individuell mit viel Charme eingerichtet und großzügig geschnitten. Das Frühstück ist exzellent und kann auch auf der Terrasse eingenommen werden. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt, ruhig und einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Von der ersten Minute an fühlten wir uns herzlich willkommen. Der Service war herausragend – überaus freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Dies ist ein echter Geheimtipp in Kapstadt! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Inhabergeführtes kleines Luxushotel. Individualität trifft auf Ruhe in einem stadtnahen Villenviertel. Sehr persönlicher Service unter deutscher Leitung Wo findet man noch den sehr selten gewordenen Aufdeckservice (Turn-down Service) zum Abend im Zimmer? Hier. Großes Kompliment!

It was our first time in Cape Town and we couldn’t have stayed in a better place! The guesthouse was lovely and the rooms were beautifully decorated. We especially loved the location- it was lovely to wake up every morning with the view of Table Mountain. The staff were so welcoming and helpful especially Mico who gave us great tips and suggestions. We’ll definitely stay here again when we go back!

If visiting Cape Town then The Abbey Manor is the perfect location, fantastic accommodation, lovely staff. Nothing about this place is negative, the only downside was having to leave, but based on our experience, we will be back. PS. Book direct

We had a wonderful 4 nights here celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary The hosts were wonderful and helped organise flowers and champagne in the room. The room was spotless and we particularly enjoyed the bedtime story left with a treat when returning to the room after supper. The food was delicious and views of Table Mountain second to none. Would definitely love to return

Very kind and welcoming owners made this a most enjoyable stay. Room is very comfortable with everything needed for short stay. Fabulous breakfast served. This is a B&B so no facilities to prepare own meals, and car is essential to go out at night. Nicely situated a few km outside the busy tourist area and also very close to the mountain and cable car station

Stayed here for our recent honeymoon. Service was exceptional and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was great and the communal areas were fine for any downtime we had. Great recommendations for restaurants and bars in the city from the staff adding to what felt like a very personalised stay. Room was comfertable and clean and we were away from the hustle and bustle of the city so the evenings were quiet.

Abbey Manor was just amazing! The view of table mountain is breath taking and the breakfast very tasty! But what really makes the Manor amazing is the staff. They are extremely helpful and kind! They are always happy to help with a restaurant reservation or recommendations for activities. Would highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay. Mico and team were welcoming and provided guidance to ease us into all aspects of Cape Town. Room was luxurious and the breakfast was probably the best we had on our trip. It as nice sitting around the swimming pool eating breakfast. Definitely recommend.

Amazing guest house. The room was beautifully decorated and we had a lovely little deck area. Breakfast by the pool each morning was lovely Everyone was so helpful with advice to help our trip. . We stayed 3 nights. We would highly recommend.

Our week-long stay was truly wonderful. The staff were all very helpful, extremely knowledgeable and experienced. We had our own itinerary, but their tips on how to avoid the crowds, where to go for dinner and for a drink at sunset were invaluable. The rooms are very well furnished and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and the pool outside a Godsend on warmer days. The suburb of Oranjezicht is also very beautiful, with a lovely park great large and quiet avenues and streets as well as magnificent homes. It is also very safe. Many of the nice restaurants are within walking distance from Abbey Manor. We walk to them in the early evening and catch a Uber or taxi back for convenience. We would definitely recommend Abbey Manor as a great place to stay while in Cape Town
