華登住宅酒店(The Walden House)

Tolle Leistung des Personals. Super freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war gross und bequem, Frühstück super. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Restaurants, kann ich nur empfehlen.

We stayed at the Walden House for 5 nights, a lovely guest house well located,close to Kloofstreet and its delicious restaurants. We had the beautiful and very spacious honeymoon suite. We were particularly impressed by Amy, she was a wonderful hostess who always tried to accommodate us. She gave us a packed breakfast when we left early for an excursion and came back in the evening to give us back our luggage on the last day. I will definitely visit them again!

Good spacious rooms and bathroom, comfortable bed. Just big enough desk to work at. Nice view if you looked hard enough! Toiletries not great, expensive mini bar. Lots of keys needed to unlock and lock again front door, room door, balcony door. Pool and pool area out of action.

I can’t thank enough the manager of Walden House, Amy, from going to the nth degree to ensure that I had a wonderful stay. Amy, your outstanding service and clear dedication to this wonderful place made my experience - Walden House is lucky to have you!

Just a lovely boutique hotel, well located, with amazingly lovely and caring staff. We had a beautiful suite facing Table Mountain and woke up to a beautiful sunrise every morning followed by a healthy yet delicious breakfast. We would love to visit again. If you are visiting Cape Town, please do not hesitate to make this your home away from home!

We (family of 4) stayed at Walden House for 6 nights. It’s centrally located, a short drive from the V&A Waterfront, and close to some excellent restaurants. Our rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfasts great. But by far the greatest thing about the Walden House is the warmth of welcome from Amy and Kirsten. They went out of their way to help us - providing food and coffee when we left early for day trips, booking an airport transfer and arranging a guide for Table Mountain. Amy also helped us enormously with a difficult situation that we found ourselves in, and we cannot thank her enough. We highly recommend the Walden House.

A well run and very hospitable small inn. The staff was very helpful, personable and accommodating. Walden House is well-situated, with restaurants nearby, and across the street from a small park. The English breakfast provided for our stay was absolutely delicious. Our thanks to the staff. We highly recommend Walden House.

The ladies who run the guesthouse are wonderful and are willing to assist. It's incredibly clean and the energy is warm and welcoming I will definitely stay there every time I am in Cape Town 5 Stars *****

The hosts at Walden House made our stay comfortable and personable. The central location was perfect for visiting Table Mountain as well as a quick (and cheap) Uber ride to the waterfront. Despite the noisier end of the street being just a couple of blocks away, Walden House was quiet and restful. We enjoyed slow-paced mornings and relaxing evenings on the upstairs shared balcony. Room accommodations were well-furnished, very clean, updated private bath with option of either a/c or open windows with a lovely breeze overnight. Kirsten and Amy work hard to meet every need, answer questions, and make guests comfortable and welcome. Breakfast was lovely and delicious in the dining room. Also appreciated the staff arranging transportation for us from and back to the airport. Loved this quaint guesthouse and would gladly return!
