Das war mit Abstand das schlechteste Hotel das ich seit 10 Jahren in Südafrika gesehen habe. Empfang unfreundlich. Nicht das Zimmer gegeben das bestellt wurde 1 Personen Zimmer nicht für 2 Personen geeignet. Schmuddelig das Zimmer. Das WC unterirdisch. Frühstück kein Käse, Eier muss man selbst machen, Obst Marmalade und Müsli ausreichend . Fazit nie wieder.

Wat een super tijd hebben we gehad bij The Big . Super lieve hulpvaardige dames Ntombi en Mellisa bij de receptie. Door hun een fijne tijd gehad in Kaapstad. Het is een gezellige eetkamer en daar door veel gesprekken met de andere gasten . Ontbijt was goed verzorgd. De slaapkamer prima . Een echte aanrader, We komen zeker terug .

Une belle ambiance pour cette jolie guesthouse très bien située et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Tout est parfait, la chambre familiale avec deux chambres communicantes par une chouette terrasse, l'accueil est très sympa, on se sent comme à la maison.

The big is a wonderful backpacker. The double room was amazing. It has personal touches that make us feel at home. There are coffee and tea available in the communal kitchen. Our room had a TV with Netflix, air-conditioning, and good Wi-Fi. All the girls in the reception were incredibly friendly. It seemed like we had been friends for a long time (especially Dommi). They arranged everything for us, like whale watching, a guide for the Table Mountain hike, car rental, and restaurants. They turned our travel into an incredible experience.

What a wonderful place! This luxery hostel is fantastic. It’s safe, cozy, has beautiful and clean rooms. Breakfast is included. Such nice and helpfull staff. About 20 minutes walk to the Waterfront area. The best hostel I have stayed in. Highly recommended!

9 nights in THE BIG “backpackers” in Thornhill Road. Squeaky clean. Friendly helpful staff. Gorgeous swimming pool. Substantial breakfast. Kitchen facilities. Work facilities. Free Wi-Fi. Comes HIGHLY recommended. I am a mature traveler. I shared a room with two other women in “The Girls Room” and it was all good!

We stayed at The BIG a few years ago, and it was honestly one of the best holidays Ive ever had! To have heard they revamped and reopened is AMAZING NEWS! Staff was phenomenal and helpful. Place was clean and beautiful - attention to small details making travelling dream. And of course, central and in the hub of it all Cannot wait to come stay again!
