The hotel location is accessible. No room service despite of our request in advance but the staff is friendly.

Very good location but lacking many stuff like hairdryer,the bathroom is quite dirty too,staff were nice though

First room they booked me in had strands of hairs on the bed sheets and had visible stain marks. Second room they transferred me into had a broken washroom light. Told me they’d send a technician but none arrived. I would avoid if you can. Waste of time and money. Got a refund but was charged for the day i checked in. It’s an old building, but for the price we’re paying per night, at least make sure your rooms and equipments are clean and functioning well. 0/10. Would not recommend.

Room was not clean, sheets on bed stained. Housekeeping did not tidy room on day two. No pop in pop machine. Only saving grace was the under ground parking. Pretty rough area, if bringing young children the hotel is located right beside a homeless shelter, just be aware. Location was good, right down town.

We check in at 4 Saturday and there is a garbage left in the trash that wasn’t ours as we just step in the room . And we check out Sunday June 11 at 10 am the guy at the from desk on duty with his earphone he didn’t even noticed us we standing there to checkout.

If you don't mind the most basic of hotels on a budget this would do. The Island Travel Inn is handily located for getting around downtown but other than that not special of a place to stay at.The wifi is terrible, the connection was constantly cutting in and out. Light bulbs missing in the room. The floor I stayed on was crazy hot, turned the air conditioner on full blast just to attempt to sleep at night (and distract from loud street sounds) but even then it was still hot. No screen on window which I feel should be an issue? Staff were nice enough but didn't necessarily go above and beyond. Crazy noisy, you could hear everything going on outside traffic wise, seagulls, and people yelling.

The room washroom is terrible. The bath tub is not properly clean. There is no rubber mat in it. My son fell and I asked the receptionist to put a rubber mat but there was no action given. It’s for the safety of the guest, they should secure that the washroom is safe for the guests. There is lack in amenities. Bath towels should be enough for 4 guest, including kids.

The hotel is dated. Needs upkeep. The room was large, lots of furniture. There was onsite parking which was very nice. It is very near downtown/Chinatown. Lots of food options, parks etc easily walkable. Staff was courteous and helpful
