Rooms needed major tlc. The first room we booked had stained carpets, filthy blinds and just looked worn. We moved to another room for one night. The carpet was cleaner, but the bathroom smelled of mildew and was way too small with a low ceiling for anyone over 5’10”. Blinds were broken in the middle. Only redeeming qualities are the staff and location. Very friendly and helpful, but the property owners need to renovate the rooms we stayed in. Clean carpet, blinds that work and replacing worn out furniture would be a start. Not worth the money.

The location was amazing. The interior was very interesting in its uniqueness and antiquity. It was like stepping back in time 100 years ago. Everything was so clean and the breakfast was delicious. The only issue I had was that the bed was very uncomfortable and it left me with a pinched nerve in my left shoulder. If they updated the beds to a more comfortable mattress I would give this place 5/5

Beautiful B&B. Friendly hosts. Stayed here 3 nights. Great location and view from our room. Breakfast was great. Loved the homemade cookies and refreshments that were available. Close to great neighborhood restaurants and Beacon hill park is across the street. Will return here when I come back to visit Victoria

Beautiful place with an amazing history. Great staff. Huge trees with an amazing walk through the forest. Close to golf and beaches. We love this place the most on our trip.

Lights broke down in the middle of my shower. A rack in the bathroom broke down. It was fixed at once when I reported it. There was a definite lack of toilet paper and kleenex and no easy access to get more. It was great to be able to access soft drinks and bottled water and cookies day and night at no charge. There was no lounge or place to sit and read and the diniing area was a partial assist to this. Taking our suitcases up a long staircase at 9 pm where there was no staff available was difficult for us at 87 and 88. Having no staff to greet us for a place as expensive as this one, seems inappropriate, and no security staff at all. Breakfast was great and the breakfast room delightful. The breakfast staff were very pleasant.

I loved the view from my private balcony, the spaciousness of the room and bathroom, the breakfast (although the eggs were underdone)served in a lovely dining room overlooking the ocean, the warm welcome, the ease of check in and check out and getting into and out of the building. The location is superb, right across the street from Beacon Hill Park, and walking pathways along the ocean close.

I like the unique character rooms. It had a great view of the ocean and it was very quiet and relaxing. We really enjoyed the breakfasts. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Would have liked the breakfast time extended so you can sleep a little more.
