This has long been my go-to hotel in Carlisle due to location and that it has a restaurant on-site. This time, however, the room was definitely moldy, with visible mold on the ceiling and in the bath.
It took quite a while to check in with new staff training. OK understand, but this hotel is not up to its usual standards.

Carpets, bathroom, and overall could have been cleaner. Furniture was torn and had holes in it. The AC blew into the window curtain causing it to blow onto the bed. Fridge did not work great. I did not know I had to pay for parking and come through a back door from the parking garage across the street.

When I arrived, there was nothing one at the front desk and I and another person both had to wait a while for someone to show up to check us in. There was a sign explaining that the person working the front desk had to go help someone in a room, but it was still annoying that there was no front desk coverage. Later that day, I was walking through the lobby and noticed yet another person waiting at a vacant front desk for assistance. Other than that issue though, the hotel was lovely. Great location and very comfortable room.

Location is a plus, I’ve stayed here several times, this time I found the hotel to be not so kept. Room had a musty smell, bedding had a few stains, request not to stay in room 301.

Clean, comfortable room. AC unit kept a constant temperature all night! Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was small but clean.
