We had a great time at the Carlsbad Sheraton for my birthday staycation! I loved Taryn, the front desk gal; she was helpful and friendly. Taryn  allowed my friend to decorate a few lounge chairs at the pool before I arrived for my surprise birthday. Most places wouldn’t have allowed that, and I was very appreciative.  The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were roomy. Unfortunately, some noisy people were above us for half the night. Thankfully, security asked him to shut up, and at check-out, Taryn waved my resort fee and sincerely apologized. I almost forgot to mention the lovely restaurant and Café at the poolside. I ordered myself a cup of coffee, and the barista made me a complimentary chai tea latte for my birthday. I look forward to Coming back for another day of vacation

Staff friendly but our room ac wouldn’t turn on they told us they were booked for our stay so couldn’t change rooms luckily it wasn’t too hot during our stay and we can bug problems with them entering threw our patio

Terrible condition, terrible service. Half of what you see here will be closed for maintenance or closed for the season or some excuse for amenities being out of service. The pool is so cold that no one uses it. The playroom has issues with mold or smells or something so they lock it up. Requests to heat the pool or make people more comfortable were ignored. Definitely not worth the money.

We were there for soccer tournament but the water slide was off. We had rips on our blankets and an old ripped up chair as well. No tissues in the bathroom it was empty. For the price it wasn’t worth it.

This is a great family friendly resort, that works well for young families visiting Legoland and surrounding areas. The private access to Legoland, large rooms, pool amenities, dining and access options to both the Sheraton and Westin, make this hotel a top choice. It is on the pricier side with added daily resort fees, US$38 per day for parking and $25 per day for a cot, but Sheraton and its wonderful staff worked with us to address those excess fees.
