紅井旅館(Red Well Inn)

Ambience and service were perfect, however the website had not been updated and some items desired on menu shown, were not available from the actual in house menu. Most meals were of good size, but the halloumi & chips were not, only tiddly pieces of cheese, barely enough to call a light lunch. Ditto the chocolate brownie, also delicious, but most diners commented on its meagre size, especially when compared to the massive crumble portions ! Both were very tasty though. As an aside, the Afternoon Tea, served to another table, looked amazing and very generous as value for money, beautifully presented, as were all meals.

We’ve now had a Sunday roast, a mid week lunch menu and last night we had an evening meal. This is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food. The decor and ambiance is warm and cosy with a log burner set in the middle. The staff are professional and friendly, area’s are pet friendly too which is also great but most of all it’s a great menu with home cooked food and really good quality, the chef is fantastic.

We popped in here for Lunch and was plesantly surprised. The front of house Lucy was so helpful. We hadn't booked but she found us a table. We were expecting a long wait but the food arrived very quickly. THe food was fantastic

Excellent breakfast at saddles cafe at the Redwell. Food was fresh and very good quality. Staff very polite and attentive. Just a shame the Redwell isn't up and running hundred percent at the moment. Definitely not the first time we've been and won't be the last.

First time here after many years for lunch to celebrate a friends birthday, not an extensive menu but a good variety, from main meals to interesting salads and sandwiches, not forgetting the cakes and desserts that we were a too full to taste. Reasonably priced with great service in what is a beautiful countryside with a newly refurbished old inn surrounded with newly created gardens, very appealing curbside and plenty of parking.

First time visiting the Redwell, pre booked by telephone a couple of days before. Lovely decor and a handful of extremely well behaved dogs, we are big dog fans! All the staff were very friendly but we did have to wait a little too long to have our drinks and food orders taken, another family came in shortly after us and were served drinks before our order had been taken. The food was very well presented and very tasty! We would go again.......if they would have us.

Called in for breakfast which was freshly cooked and delicious, reasonably priced and very enjoyable, nice staff we were served by Lucy who was friendly and attentive all in all a good start to the day

We visited Saddles at Redwell Inn couple of weeks ago for lunch Years since we went, We had the senior special, which usually is a half serving. This was huge! A lovely well cooked and presented meal Service was amazing, Nice friendly atmosphere We will be back! Highly recommend

We have just got in from our first (but certainly not our last) visit to The Red Well Country Inn and was so impressed I felt compelled to immediatley leave a review. Our daughter and neice had toasies with a cup of soup on the side, Today's soup was vegetable and very tasty it was too! The soup also served with lovely croutons. My husband and I had the 'famous' cheese and onion pie to see what all the fuss was about....and OH MY GOODNESS!!! As a self-proclaimed cheese and onion pie connoisseur 😆 I can hand on heart say it was indeed the best cheese and onion pie I have ever had and 100% lives up to it's well deserved name. The lady who took our order was so lovely and accommodating as was the young man who brought our food to us. The restraunt has a lovely ambience to it with stunning scenery to enjoy whilst you are eating or just having a drink. Cannot wait to visit again!!
