紅龍旅館(Red Dragon Inn)

We were waiting a good 15 minutes for a table that was ready that no one seated us at we just went and sat down. We were never told to order at the bar or asked if we wanted some drinks. We were ignored by staff and left to do everything our self's the only thing they did was bring food over which I couldn't fault it was lovely the service on the other hand was very poor I've been here twice now and not treated very well.

Stayed this week for two nights. Fabulous bar and accommodation with friendly staff. Room was large & spotless. Very dog friendly. Food amazing and ate here both nights. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. No car park but parking available nearby. Added bonus of a quiz on a Monday. Kirkby Lonsdale has lots of bars and independent shops. Would definitely recommend and we will certainly return 😊

Came here for a long weekend. Lovely warm welcome and a much needed warmth from the open fire. Dogs are welcome. Rooms are lovely and the bed is comfy. Tea & coffee with shortbread biscuits are in your room, there is also a hairdryer in the draw. The food is delicious here and make sure you book a slot as it does get busy and I can see why. The lady who tends your room and is also present at breakfast is Sharon, lovely lady and made sure we had everything we needed. Sharon also has her own book of walks and please take a look and take pictures as they are very well explained and can find your way around the walks easily. The staff are so nice here it felt like we were locals. I would like to make a huge point that this establishment DOES NOT WEAR LATEX GLOVES. So any one with a latex allergy you are safe here, I'm so pleased to be writing this 😊 Thankyou for taking care of us, we will definitely recommend and will be back.

From to check in to check out the whole experience was fabulous. Anthony the manager was excellent checking us in smoothly and making us feel welcome. Our room was tasteful and very clean. We decided to eat here in the evening also and the food was delicious. The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented. Help yourself to yogurt, cereal and toast and then we ordered from the menu. Sharron who served at breakfast was so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back - we always drive past Kirkby Lonsdale on the way to the lakes but will make this a place to stay in future.

Stayed here for short break as we have stayed here before. As previous visit we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are lovely and spotlessly clean with bath and a shower and instant hot water. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are very quiet. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Meals can be had in the pub and we know from previous experience that the food is good. The breakfast is superb and you'd be hard pushed to find a better cooked breakfast. Great value and well positioned in middle of KL. My only suggestion would be slightly brighter bulbs in main light and bedside lights but that's being really picky. Would certainly recommend.

Great location on the Main Street on Kirkby Lonsdale. The bar area is really warm & welcoming with a great selection of drinks. Our room was spotless with a comfortable bed & great bathroom with a walk in shower. Shortbread biscuits are a lovely touch! Breakfast the next day was very good - nicely cooked & quality produce. The best thing about this hotel are the staff - all are so friendly and chatty, especially the lady who serves breakfast - Sharon I think. We’ve stayed at The Royal a few times, which was nice but prefer the Red Dragon which is great value for money, especially if you book direct. Highly recommend & we’ll definitely be back next time we visit Kirkby Lonsdale.

Went In on the 24th ordered 2 madri well cleaned and maintained pub Anthony was the manger on duty great service and a well cleaned pub keep up the good work I will definitely recommend to my family and friends I will visit again very soon Regards Stu

Went in for a meal Saturday evening. Everything was spot on the food was amazing and the pub had a lovely atmosphere. The young lady waiting on was especially helpful and couldn’t do enough for us and the guy on the bar really friendly.

Beautifully refurbished property in tasteful style that really suits such an old pub.. Beds so comfortable and everything spotless. ALL staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
