Popped in here for drinks and to watch the football. Place was very busy and the staff were rushed but still pleasant and friendly. It has a good atmosphere and a good selection of drinks and cocktails. Shame our footy team lost but worth the visit.

Staying in KL for short break and called in for a drink. Staff very welcoming. Nice atmosphere. Food looked good though we'd already eaten. Nice selection of drinks. Decent range of well kept cask ales. Absolutely great value. A G&T with tonic was £3.90. My pint of Timothy Taylor was £.2.75 with a special deal on Tuesdays. Wish we'd found it sooner instead of at the end of our stay! They have rooms and would certainly stay here on our next visit.

The best sports bar in Kirkby Lonsdale. Great beer offerings and I also believe it’s a hotel which I will definitely try next time. Staff looked happy, food looked good, have really good deals on too. Also it turned out to be the cheapest by a mile.

Saturday night in the lakes. Lovely hotel, nice room. Ate in the restaurant. Food was great, and came out very quickly despite being busy. Staff were very helpful, and served us very quickly too. I had lasagne, my other half had a burger. We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We’ve been previously, a few years ago, and left a bad review, in fact I was dreading going back when the wife said she’d booked the place. Well, what a change, the beer was good, the staff were good and the accommodation was good. An enjoyable nights stay and the breakfast was spot on in the morning too. Confidence restored.

Had some issues with our lock on the door, this was sorted in a very timely and friendly response from the manager, lady with red hair. Great customer service, great breakfast as well. Thank you

Great food, nice staff and good beer choice highly recommend. Can’t wait to spend days over Christmas in here just an overall decent pub in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale. Rooms are available to book maybe next time will stop over.

Went for a few drinks, was quiet and had good service. Oli and Ben were very welcoming. Nice central location, lots of seating and tvs, not tried the food but the menu had a good range. Try to come for live music next time.

Wonderful warm cozy pub, everything about our stay was lovely. Great service at the bar for check in, room was delightful loved the wonkey doors and beams such lovely oldy world charm. Bed was cozy and had nice front room loved looking out at the old lamp and stone buildings of the street. Location is great with a selection of bars and restaurants within a min or two walk. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend for a little getaway
