耶蘭德新旅館(The New Inn - Yealand)

We booked a room last minute at The New Inn. Overall we had the best time for our spontaneous mini moon getaway. There was parking at the rear. Lovely views and scenic walks. We even had a fridge to place our picnic goods. The walk in shower was a nice added feature and beds were super comfy. Jayne recommend some great places to eat and visit in neighbouring towns. Great to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. There was also access to a smart tv and Netflix was included. We had a selection of hot beverages available in our rooms and breakfast included from 8am-10am. P.S - make sure you bring food/ snacks as there’s no nearby supermarkets. I was lucky my partner had a car to get around.

We stayed at the New Inn overnight with our friends on our way next day to the Isle of Man on the Heysham Ferry. Really comfortable place to stay and we were made very welcome by everyone. This is an excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was lovely and spacious. The food at the restaurant is truely first class. We had a great meal. It’s in a great location near Carnforth with plenty of great walks and places to see. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Three of us had dinner. The staff were all exceptionally welcoming, attentive, fun and efficient. We really enjoyed meeting them. The food was truly outstanding - as good as any Michelin starred place we have been to. We are relatively local so have visited here before on many occasions, but the new owners have really stepped it up and we would say it is now one of Cumbria's best dining places. We highly recommend it and wish all the staff every success. They deserve it.

Absolutely hidden gem. The room we stayed in was stunning and big with a beautiful view over field to the hills. The bed was heavenly comfortable and the smeg fridge was a pleasant added bonus. Really warm and cosy with a wonderful big slick bathroom. Brilliant hot downpour shower. Oh and a huge flatscreen TV on the wall with smart TV and Netflix etc. That's just the room ! Downstairs the restaurant was extraordinary. Lovely friendly service and the food was pretty amazing in presentation and taste. Huge wine list and a warm and cosy atmosphere. A rare place that exceeds all expectations!!

Stunning room. Huge, beautiful, amazing attention to detail. Coffee maker and bath especially appreciated. Staff could not have been any friendlier. Food was very special too, and good wine list. Wonderful place to spend the weekend.

Recently renovated and beautifully decorated, the New Inn is a charming and relaxing place to stay. The staff are friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome. I advised them that I was vegan and everything was arranged so that I had a superb evening meal and delicious breakfast. We stayed in room 7 at the top of the hotel with a view across the rooftops and fields to the church beyond. Facilities in the room are excellent - with a coffee machine and mini fridge and, somewhat quirkily, a free-standing bath in the bedroom - although there is also a separate en suite shower room.

A lovely cosy room with outside access. Wonderful shower. It was clean and nicely decorated. Would definitely come back.

Another wonderful stay. The New Inn and it’s wonderful staff continue to provide a lovely welcome in their beautiful Inn. Perfect rooms, so cosy and a welcome to our four legged friend. Lovely evening meals and bar with real fires. Perfect on a wintry day and evening.
