卡賓特里拉貝斯特韋斯特優質酒店(Best Western Plus Carpinteria Inn)

Hotel is partially under construction. Carpet pulled up. Expensive for such a small room. Service was good just expected a better hotel from what I had read.

Room was not as appear in add. Staff would not offer a refund. ******* would not refund either. Staff would not meet our needs discuritious and dismissive to me and treated me like i was ignorant we checked out within 30 min without a refund. Very poor service from hotel and *******. Hotel processed our payment at check IN without us seeing room first. BEWARE

I did not get the room reserved and paid for. The room was smaller and did not have courtyard access. I paid for a larger room with more amenities and courtyard access, I was given a standard room. I brought it to her attention, and she said "no". The bathroom had stains on the ceiling and the wallpaper is peeling off. The shower head is a trickle. That room is not remodeled. The lady who checked me out of the room at the end was very nice.

First of all, I don’t think I was put into the room I actually paid for. I paid for a premium room and that is not what I got. Our key card stopped working half way through our stay which is super annoying. But the worst part about our stay was there was NO HOT WATER! Not being able to shower to start your day is the worst!

The man checking us in was extremely unhelpful & rude. It was late at night because my son had to go to the ER on our way out of town in LA & I had lost my credit card so only had Apple Pay, which he said never works that late. He offered no help in brainstorming how we could pay the $50 for incidentals but when I finally asked if they would take cash said of course & when I asked if he knew what grocery stores were open to go see if I could get cash back was rude & said he didn't have a clue about banking stuff. When we finally got it figured out & came back, he acted surprised & annoyed we found a way to get cash. When I asked which way our room was he told us right towards the right & when I asked for clarification he said the exact same thing but very rudely. Never told us the best place to park & after parking we realized there was a dead rat right by the parking spot. The way he told us ended up being the way to one of the elevators & after riding in the scariest shakiest, creakiest elevator rides of our life couldn't find any signs that included our room # & had to walk around in the middle of the night in a literal maze to find our room. The next morning we found out that there was an elevator on the other side of the hotel and parking close to an entrance right by the elevator that went right by our room. Our room was musty & the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The hot water was lukewarm at its hottest. The spa & pool are in two different areas. Worst hotel!
