The man checking us in was extremely unhelpful & rude. It was late at night because my son had to go to the ER on our way out of town in LA & I had lost my credit card so only had Apple Pay, which he said never works that late. He offered no help in brainstorming how we could pay the $50 for incidentals but when I finally asked if they would take cash said of course & when I asked if he knew what grocery stores were open to go see if I could get cash back was rude & said he didn't have a clue about banking stuff. When we finally got it figured out & came back, he acted surprised & annoyed we found a way to get cash. When I asked which way our room was he told us right towards the right & when I asked for clarification he said the exact same thing but very rudely. Never told us the best place to park & after parking we realized there was a dead rat right by the parking spot. The way he told us ended up being the way to one of the elevators & after riding in the scariest shakiest, creakiest elevator rides of our life couldn't find any signs that included our room # & had to walk around in the middle of the night in a literal maze to find our room. The next morning we found out that there was an elevator on the other side of the hotel and parking close to an entrance right by the elevator that went right by our room. Our room was musty & the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The hot water was lukewarm at its hottest. The spa & pool are in two different areas. Worst hotel!
