First time visiting this part of the panhandle. Needed a pet friendly spot & since I love an old Florida vibe, OCH seemed to fit the bill. We stayed in the Captain’s Quarters & found it to be very comfortable & quiet. Nice linens & pillows. Very cozy. Even though the bathroom is across the hall, it still seemed private & was blocked off from the rest of the first floor. I LOVED the large size. Shower was great. High ceilings make it seem even larger. The only issues preventing 5 stars is the super musty smell in the closet & the rugs / carpet could use replacing/cleaning. Otherwise, it was quite charming, good location (short walking distance from town) & friendly, extremely helpful host. Try the nearby SOS Galley food truck & Bow tie bakery. Both 10/10!

WOW - it was so exciting to be part of "history" in the Old Carrabelle Hotel! It was so easy to get in and out with the code. It was organized, clean and the gift shop was so much fun! We bought quite a bit! The location was great and close walking distance to many of the restaurants. The room, Magnolia, was absolutely charming with its own very large bathroom! It was quiet and we slept through the night seamlessly! The service was excellent - you do your own shopping and then email the list of items to pay for them! More than affordable compared to other places. Our favorite part was the wrap around deck on the second floor! Should we back in the area, this would be our "go to" for sure!

My GF and I wanted to spend a little more leisure time around Carrabelle and St George Island and we found the Old Carrabelle Hotel online and decided to give it a shot. What a neat experience!! The hotel immediately takes you back to a time when things were slower. There’s not even a TV but the ambiance was wonderful. It’s about as close as you can get to stepping into a Time Machine. Bring a book or read one of theirs. We will, I am sure, be back. Thank you!!!

Stayed in the Hemingway suite. It was really nice upon arrival. But.. me and my boyfriend went out to the beach and upon my arrival back there was flea on the towel I had only dried my hands on!! I hadn’t even had a shower. After that I was basically paranoid! I’m not saying the hotel has fleas but I did see a flea on the towel. Me and my boyfriend do not have a dog and are any pets for that matter!!!! Considering it is a pet friendly inn I wouldn’t be surprised if the pets that come through here have fleas. Just fair warning it is carpet flooring in the rooms. So glad we didn’t book 2 nights like we wanted to!! A little disappointing considering we were excited for our stay. Definitely going to come back to Carrabelle but, pet friendly will be out of the cards for us.

My husband and I, both having a heritage of old Florida dating back to the mid 1800’s, were searching for a place resembling the old Florida that we remembered from our childhood. We found it in Carrabelle and The Old Carrabelle Hotel. Lisa has done a beautiful job of maintaining the hotels original character and its historical charm by adding her personal touch to each room. Each room has its own unique, refined ambiance and is beautifully appointed. It is perfectly located within walking distance of restaurants and the waterfront. We will definitely be back!

Approaching The Old Carabelle hotel in Carabelle is exactly the Old Florida experience I hoped for. We stayed the Hemingway suite but really liked the Magnolia Suite across the hall. While our bed and linen were outstanding, the private bath had an unusual step up landing the was unnerving, but the shower head was wonderful! Essentially the room was clean but felt a bit tired. We didn’t take advantage of the indoor common areas tho we did appreciate the fully equipped shared kitchen. Perhaps our favorite was the wrap around porch on the second floor with comfy rockers. We were in walking distance to a couple eateries and a short drive to more. Would recommend for anyone staying in Carrabelle.

Wife and I spent a night at The Old Carrabelle Hotel. What a find! It's a very small but beautiful, homey, super clean, peaceful, restful, convenient, absolutely no drama experience. All the necessities, all the comfort, none of the annoyances of a regular hotel. The bed, pillows, and bed linens were even top quality. Check-in consisted of receiving an entry code. No desk, no waiting. It was just like coming home. We let ourselves in, went right to our room, and started soaking up the relaxation. We will definitely stay there again! Oh, and pictures on the hotel's website are exactly what you will see when you get there. No misrepresentation.

Lovely and charming place! Loved all the little details they put into making our stay comfortable and memorable. The decor was a highlight for us bird lovers. Check-in and check out was a breeze.

The Old Carabelle Hotel was so cute and quaint. It was full of beach themed things and flamingoes as well as various antiques. Lisa truly went above and beyond with answering questions and suggesting fun places to go and places to eat. We can’t wait to come back!
