迦太基戴斯酒店(Days Inn by Wyndham Carthage)

Only ****** was the shower didn’t work. The rest was a solid hotel. Does take a deposit tho. So worth being careful about that

Los empleados son muy amables y serviciales. El servicio a las habitaciones debe mejorar. No había papel de baño al llegar aunque al pedirlo fue suplido de inmediato. El desayuno es bueno pero no hay variedad. En general volvería a quedarme nuevamente ahí.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. The cockroaches were abundant, there was possibly period blood on my sheets, lipstick on one of our washcloths and the jacuzzi was slick getting in to it. They offered me a different room, but I imagine the roaches were everywhere with as many as I saw in my room. I informed 3 different employees over the course of our stay and this morning the guy jokingly said, “then why’d you stay?” They were in our bathroom and doorway to the hallway area. There was even one on my daughters coat trying to hitch a ride when we left. Breakfast was all microwaveable. Nobody wanted to eat though after what we experienced. Crazy amount of bugs for as clean as the place actually was.

The hotel itself is in pretty rough shape. The dirt was a buildup over time. I paid for two nights but did not end up staying either night. I returned midway through the second day and checked out. The woman at the front desk was amazingly kind.

Towels smelled of tobacco smoke. Carpets in hallway were very dirty. Hair dryer did not work. We did not eat breakfast there

The room was clean, but it smelled like dirty mop. When i went to lay on the bed, I realized there was blood drops on the pillowcase. I will never stay at another Days Inn hotel nor recommend it to anyone I know.

Bedroom looked good and bed was comfortable. Bathroom could use a little work. Staff was pleasant. Fairly priced.

Mini fridge smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, almost moldy smell to it. Had to have housekeeping change sheets due to brown and yellowish stains on one of the beds.

The property is dirty. It’s been renovated, but hallways, stairways, windows, etc. are not ever cleaned. Very poorly kept up. They come in and bring towels, but don’t make beds, etc. Pillows are awful.
