克卡巴拉假日公園酒店(Kookaburra Holiday Park)

Relaxing. Clean. Lovely management and dog friendly. A great 3 days away from home. 2 hrs North of Townsville in the Queensland tropics with a backdrop of tropical rainforest and Hinchinbrook Island across the water. If you're in your way north in Queensland highly recommended.

I took the time to read the reviews and realised quickly, the bad reviews are from last year with old management. The new team is great. I dealt with Amber a few times on the phone, polite & helpful. Another lady was coming out the door as I arrived (didn't catch her name) but had the world's biggest smile and seemed lovely. I stayed in cabin number 16, which you can see has been renovated. Very nice, Very clean. I was only here for 1 night but would definitely stay again and definitely recommend it. The only things I would suggest are, a bathroom window blind or curtain as, even though it's frosted glass you can see in (as per pic), and the air con didn't have a heat function. If it does it wasn't working. I need heat as I'm a cold frog. No noise from main road (that I noticed anyway).Key drop box for early departures like most places. I drove through the park seemed nice and quiet, which suits me. And walking distance to the beach, which i might add has the best sun rises (see pics) This trip was something I had to cancel and rebook and Amber had arranged a voucher for me which I used. Not a bad little town either. Give this place a go!

Needed accommodation for a few nights and dropped in to Kookaburra Holiday park around 7pm on 15th May. We were so disappointed that the office was closed and no phones being answered. This is not how you run accommodation. I'd advise all just keep going and find somewhere that can book you in immediately.. Bad way to run a business. 👎👎👎

Stayed in self-contained motel room for 1 night. Clean, relatively new facilities. Spacious room, had everything we needed. After hours self check in and check out was smooth. Staff were lovely and helpful on the phone. Thanks for a lovely stay!

My wife and I have just spent a very enjoyable and relaxing 3 months in our caravan at the Kookaburra Holiday Park. The park is an easy walk to the beach, shops and supermarket. A great spot to base yourself for doing day trips or relaxing around the pool reading a book. The camp kitchen is very good and the amenities and laundry are cleaned everyday by the very friendly staff. For those that are into fishing there is a fish cleaning area also. We will be back again next year as will several groups of our friends. Milton & Maureen T.
