El Ben度假屋

This was a tranquil experience. The hotel resides on the north side of caye caulker which is a nice break from the busy south side. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff was beyond excellent. They provided complimentary transportation to the south side and locations in the nearby area. They arranged a taxi for us to be picked up at the airport and transport us to the water taxi. Justin and Freddy were the best. We will definitely be coming back with more family.

I booked this property after a disappointing experience at an AIRBNB on south Caye Caulker. Alyssa (sp?) greeted me with a cool fruit drink upon arrival and it set the tone for the rest of the stay. The property is beautiful, clean and bug-free (except for mosquitos once you get away from the grounds). The best part of the stay was the staff. It feels like family (and some of them are). Just nice people.

I should have known once the sever joked about us haviWhile the property itself is beautiful there are issues it seems everyone is aware of but have no interest in resolving. I went during crabfest 2025. They were aware their generators could not support the property yet they had it fully booked and I experience 7 blackouts in 2 hours. Btw the electricity controls the toilet and showers. So no light, toilet or shower for 4 hours. They didn’t fix my toilet for 12 hours . I have a 8 year old. Pee and poop sitting in heat for hours . I’ll let you imagine. Instead of coming to our room with even a sliver of hospitality, myself and 4 other guests had to find them. When I advised about the toilet issue - one of the property managers offered to bring a bucket of water to my room. Then they refuse to refund me for the days I was not there. Previous to this they did not communicate about needing a 2nd boat trip

We had such a wonderful time at El Ben! It was our first visit, and we're already dreaming of returning. The hotel itself is adorable, but the true highlight was the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, they were consistently helpful, kind, and always available. What really impressed us was how they greeted us by name immediately – it made us feel so welcome, like regulars! The food at the restaurant was also a standout; we enjoyed the most delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout our entire stay. The bartenders were equally friendly and always happy to see us. A huge thank you to the entire El Ben team, especially the manager, receptionists, captain, chef, and bartenders. You truly made our trip unforgettable! We can't wait to come back soon.

Increíble lugar apartado del bullicio de Caukel, mencionando que estamos en la isla de cokel a un costado, pero todo el día hay servicio de lancha (nueva y hermosa) para trasladarte, desde tu llegada a Caukel pasan por uno, y después te llevan y traen en horarios y si no te llevan gratuito también en carrito de golf al punto de enlace en un pequeño ferry entre las dos islas, ahí si solo pagas el ferry. Este lado de la isla tiene unos pequeños restaurantes el north lobster es delicioso y también pasa un carrito De golf gratuito por ti. Todos los que trabajan aquí son increíbles y atentos, las chicas de Recepción te solucionan todo. Las habitaciones hermosas y súper cómodas, la comida de su restaurante deliciosa y una vista en la bahía espectacular . A pesar de ser cabañas ninguna colindan ventanas están divididas por pasillos De arena con palmeras hermosos y si abres tu persiana nadie te ve, están construidas y ubicadas estratégicamente 😊 bien . Sin duda hospedate

We did not get into our room until 1 am. We had left to go to across the split to enjoy the island while our room was being ready and didn't return in time to get in. This was partially our fault but the lady was very disgruntled letting us in at this hour and even commented that I must still be feeling "high and drunk" from the night before, very unprofessional and unacceptable. The location was not handy as it was across the water and the mode to get back was cumbersome. I recommend somewhere else.
