卡洛景觀小屋酒店(Karoo View Cottages)

Na een lange rit vanuit Stellenbosch kwamen we aan bij Karoo. Howard had ons op de dag van aankomst goed op de hoogte gehouden via what’s app over de route, de weg en gevraagd naar de verwachte aankomsttijd om ons goed in de gaten te houden. Het huisje was perfect, rustig, mooie braai, perfect terras, zelfs een drankje in de koelkast en wat ontbijtartikelen. Hout werd voorzien voor de braai en hottub. We verbleven slechts 1 nacht op doorreis maar voelde als een mini vakantie. Howard was op de app altijd bereikbaar voor vragen over bv vroege uitcheck. We kijken met plezier terug op onze overnachting!

Wir haben sehr kurzfristig gebucht und Howard reagierte prompt. Die Cottages sind schön gelegen am Ortsrand von Prince Albert und toll eingerichtet. Super Erfahrung, würden definitiv wiederkommen. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

The place is straight out of my dreams. Beautiful views day and night, neat as pin and not lacking anything. Howard and his team was amazing and friendly and helpful. Dinner on site was an added bonus and according to my partner "the best steak he has ever had". The protected splash pool was bliss on a hot day.

We loved our stay in the Masterclass Cottage. It is very spacious, modern with nice furniture. Everything you need in the kitchen. We appreciated the extras for breakfast. The Cottage is very private. Howard's communication was excellent before and during our stay. The check in with Izette was super easy. She kept in touch with us before we arrived. We enjoyed the swimming pool in the Karoo heat. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful! Recommended to us and didn't disappoint. It's situation just outside the main town area of Prince Albert gives it a fabulous feeling of semi-isolation and being at one with the scenic environment, eve though there are neighbouring properties. The cottage was extremely well-presented, super-clean, and felt very big. Sofas, Desk, TV, Huge Bed, Log fire, Patio...pretty much everything you could want, including a wood-fired hot tub! It's just short walk from the Main Street of Prince Albert and its many great independent restaurants. Howard and the team provided very responsive and comprehensive information about the property, nearby attractions and restaurants, and arrival/cleaning/departure were all super-smooth. Fabulous place - probably the best pace we stayed during our 2 weeks in South Africa. Highly recommend!

Every time we have been to Prince Albert, we stay at Karoo View Cottages. Set just outside the town, you overlook the Swartberg mountains, and stargazing is amazing. The cottages are very well equipped with thoughtful extras, such as a large extension cord with all size adapters, meusli, rusks and yogurt in the fridge and good coffee! Very professionally run by Howard and we are looking forward to trying his new onsite restaurant on our next visit.

We arrived and had a very rude reception. However, circumstances were not normal due to a Karoo wide power outage. The manager tried to make our stay bearable but the lack of equipment to cool down the cottage cancelled his well intended efforts. We bought a braaipack and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the portions, the freshness of the ingredients and the salad was to die for, 10/10 for this! Will we visit this establishment again? Probably, but this time I will pack my Inverter just for in case.

What a wonderful spot. Glorious views over Prince Albert to the mountians, a spacious well equipped unit for two. The pool and airconditioning were vey welcome as it was very hot. Would be lovely to spend a few nights here exploring the area - we were overnighting only.

A welcoming sight from our trip from Colesberg. We arrived and were greeted by a friendly staff member who showed us to our cottage and explained all the ins and outs of the cottage. We immediately got changed and cooled down in the tub next to our cottage. Also had a fence up for our doggies not to get out. Got to watch the sunrise over the mountains early, hours of the morning before departing to Somerset West
