Poppys Chambres d'Hotes

L'emplacement est très bruyant car devant des terrasses de restaurant ; nous avions donc convenus, lors de la réservation que j'aurais une chambre qui donne sur l'arrière du bâtiment, ce qui est très important pour moi qui aime le calme et que j'avais bien notifié ; à l'arrivée, la chambre avait été donnée à un autre couple et je me suis retrouvée dans une chambre, en rdc, juste devant les terrasses où les gens sont restés jusqu'à minuit puis un appareil de nettoyage extrêmement bruyant à minuit puis à 6h ... Le propriétaire a beau être très sympathique, ce fut un très mauvais séjour et une preuve de non professionnalisme !

Estuvimos en febrero de este año(ya habíamos estado antes) y hubo un malentendido en el tema de la habitación. A mi me hacía ilusión estar en una habitación de la planta superior con balcón al mercado para poder fotografiarlo y ellos entendieron que quería una habitación con vistas a la calle y me tocó una en planta baja. El propietario, días después, y con toda la humildad del mundo, se dirigió a mi invitándonos a volver a ir como una forma de disculpa. Esta vez sí que disfrutamos de una habitación con vistas, desayuno incluido. Decir que la estancia supero nuestras expectativas, que el lugar es lo mejor de Ceret: acogedor y con un montón de detalles. El desayuno es fabuloso (nunca había probado unos huevos revueltos tan buenos) altamente recomendable, os sentiréis acogidos y cuidados.

Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans cette chambre d'hôtes lors d'un déplacement professionnel à Céret. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par les hôtes, et avons passé une agréable nuit. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et sur-mesure ! La literie est excellente. La vue sur les arcades est très authentique. Merci pour votre accueil ! :)

We loved the central location, the clean, spacious and comfortable room, the excellent breakfast and the friendliness of our host. Little touches like bottles of water and tea making facilities - even a corkscrew and wine glasses - were much appreciated. Highly recommended.

Everything you would expect from a French B&B, cleanliness, friendliness and that somethingelseness which is there but difficult to describe. We stayed in a ground floor room with a window directly onto guys having a morning coffee in the cafe outside. We were immersed into french life from the moment we opened the shutters. The high quality breakfast was really well presented, and tasted fresh and light. Would stay again. As an aside, and a surprise the owner is English and comes from the same town as I do. He offered me English tea bags and milk which is something only the English would understand. Ceret is a fantastic town if you are interested in art.

Spend a night in this lovely little hotel in the middle of Céret. Friendly host who showed and explained everything. Nice that you can choose whatever you want for breakfast. Paul, the host, told me where to park and where to find the nearest restaurants. He warned in advance for the location in the centre and the chance of noice. But I was lucky: everything stayed calm! Recommended!

Esta en Céret, un pequeño pueblo en el Rosellon frances. En la plaza del pueblo, muy animada, esta este hotelito precioso, pequeño, familiar. Su dueño Pol ha convertido la casa familiar en un lugar entranyable, lleno de muebles y recuerdos antiguos, y un perro y un gato. Si no buscais un hotel de lujo, es muy recomendable.
