Despite my request for a quieter room, I was given a room facing the street. Sure enough = 2 sleepless nights due to vehicular traffic and prople walking/talking loud around 2, 3, 4 in the morning. The room windows are single pane without any gap seals - obviously doesn't help with noise suppression. One light switch for the entire room, no lamps as shown in images. During the reservation process - credit card information was required to complete the process - there was no indication of any surcharges in hotel description or final payment information page. Yet, the hotel charged me 5% extra for using a credit card for payment.
