Brilliant stay at the Boat and Horses !! Extremely clean room , a huge cosy bed , tea , coffee , biscuits and even hot chocolate supplied each day and such lovely welcoming staff - especially Dale on reception ! Canal view family room was excellent- very roomy and no noise at all ! Restaurant attached to the hotel for a great hearty breakfast that was included in price and lunch and dinner if needed with a great selection of food !! Would I stay again - absolutely!! 10/10

Me and my 2 children have stayed here many times, we always request the same room(as my children have autism and are used to the room) and have always had our request granted. Very comfortable beds, lovely clean bathroom. Buffet breakfasts in the pub/restaurant is always very nice too.

Great value. The room was very spacious, warm and clean. The receptionist was really polite and pleasant checking in, as was the person who took checked us out. We checked in around 15:15 and there was plenty of parking available. The main bed was great, but will say the pull-out bed is very uncomfortable even by sofa bed standards, but was fine for my two young kids who were too small the reach the bar where the middle fold is. The bathtub is tiny and a little uncomfortable which was disappointing as we’d been on our feet all day and could have done with a nice hot soak. Biggest let down though was there was only one sachet of instant coffee… come on guys! To be fair I’ll let them off for leaving the kids their own mugs with a hot chocolate and cookie each which made their stay feel special. But that’s literally all I could really moan about if I was to be super fussy. For the price though, it’s excellent value for money. Food in the pub next door was of a decent pub grub standard and all the staff were really polite and well mannered. I’d definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Fabulous staff and venue and very good value for money. Breakfast was lovely and spoilt for choice. In a Very busy junction/area and was lots of queues exiting the car park due to Costco but nevertheless it was very quiet in our room and we were not disturbed at all by traffic noise. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. A cheaper property cancelled last minute & the ******* rep relocated & upgraded me within half hour. The hotel was clean & the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely also. :)

Stayed for a few nights while working in the area. The hotel and bar staff were all very nice , pleasant and friendly. The hotel room was spacious and with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast and food served at the pub were very nice and reasonably priced along with a good selection of beers on tap. All in a a very nice and pleasant stay.

we arrived on friday evening went across for a meal and the service was fabulous , very attentive staff. SADLY Saturday was not so, compromised also by the intrusion of the fire alarm resulting in the whole place being evacuated and quite honestly no member having any idea whatsoever of how to dela with the issue went back into the pub side once reopen and the service once again was horrendous so walked away, we didnt take the breakfast on sunday as quite honestly the whole experience of hte saturday had spoilt it for us.
