Private bedroom with queen bed, and a cozy loft with 2 single beds.( ladder limit of 200 lbs, and loft requires moving around on hands and knees) TV in the bedroom, loft & living area. We are not located in Fredonia, but in CaneBeds.We are a cattle family who homesteaded the Arizona Strip. Our place has horses, cats, dogs, chickens, roosters, goats and cattle. We are completely off the grid. Our water is off a well and our electricity is solar. The rooster crows in the morning. The water can sometimes have a unique odor but is clean and safe and we provide free water bottles. We don’t see them often but there are snakes (mostly blow snakes but rattle snakes are native, scorpions (non poisonous) coyotes and other critters from time to time .If you like petting and feeding the ranch animals, please feel free to offer a hand.We are 5,000 feet in elevation and experience all seasons. Welcome to the Wild West 40. This cabin is 1 of 8 located on the Arizona Strip just 3 miles off the highway, yet away from it all. Majestic views of red and purple mountains. We are 100% off the grid with solar and a well. You’d never know it though as our cabins have everything from a stove top, microwave, fridge, hi sped internet, big screen TVs and video games. Feel free to make a camp fire in front or feed the animals out back. Grabs some fresh eggs for breakfast!We are located about 30 minutes north of Fredonia and Kanab in a town called Cane Beds which about 15 minutes from Colorado City.
