Beautiful hut #20, perfectly equipped with en-suite bathroom, picture window view of the nature reserve. Peaceful retreat centre. Very clean and well appointed. Nice activities such as archery, darts, table tennis, snooker, table football, games, swimming pool - would be better if there was bar service by the pool. Service good especially Mr Murthi at front desk and 5* for Mr Srikantha the on site naturalist who took us for Mudumalai safari. Great stop on the way from Mysore to Ooty.

Nous avons séjourné au Serai en famille, c'est un hôtel très agréable et accueillant pour les familles avec enfants, il y a des jeux et une jolie piscine. Les bungalows sont corrects, le mien n'avait pas d'eau chaude le soir, ce qui était bien dommage. Le restaurant est très agréable avec une vue magnifique. La cuisine est bonne et le personnel est tres gentil et aidant. Hôtel parfaitement calme et relaxant

We originally planned to stay at The Serai Bandipur for just two days, but we ended up extending to four — that’s how wonderful it was. Even though tiger safaris were temporarily suspended due to a recent incident in the area, our experience at the resort was exceptionally rewarding. What made our stay truly special were the people. We especially enjoyed the conversations with the hotel manager, Rohid, who generously shared his knowledge about the region and made us feel genuinely welcome. The entire staff impressed us with their kindness and attentiveness. One evening, we happened to be the only guests at the resort, and Chef Raju together with Baseavanna from the service team surprised us with a beautiful candlelight dinner by the pool. The food was outstanding, and the gesture made the evening unforgettable. We will always remember our time at this stunning place in the middle of nature, surrounded by wonderful people. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and experience heartfelt hospitality.

Our stay at The Sarai Bandipur was a fantastic experience. The resort is spacious, with large rooms and an excellent view from the restaurant, located peacefully close to the jungle. We frequently saw deer and elephants nearby, and even deer within the resort grounds in the morning. The service was a highlight; the staff is incredibly friendly, humble, and always ready to help. The food was also very good, especially the breakfast buffet with its wide variety and live cooking stations. We highly recommend The Sarai Bandipur for anyone seeking a peaceful escape with great hospitality and a true connection to nature.

Loved the property. Its just next to forest. Deers come inside property in the night, you can see peacocks in the morning. Very peaceful, calming. Overall good experience. They have arranged safari and transportation to it at reasonable price. Food could have been better. Hospitality is good.

Had a very good experience visiting The Serai at Bandipur. The environment around Serai is amazing. The staff are excellent and hospitality is very good, I must say much better than any other five star resorts. Food is excellent although continental spread could have been little better but not a deal breaker for sure. Looking forward for visit during monsoon season. The nature walk conducted by team was good and refreshing. We couldn’t experience famous Bandipur Safari due to government regulations.
