豺狼穴酒店(Dhole's Den Bandipur)

Nicht buchen! Das ***agement von Dholes Den hat eine sehr eigenartige Einstellung seinen Kunden gegenüber. Obwohl wir lange im Voraus für 4 Erwachsene 2 Zimmer gebucht hatten ist uns kurz vor Anreise seitens des Hotels gekündigt worden, da sie die Zimmer für eine andere große Gruppen-Veranstaltung nutzen wollten. Ohne Alternative und damit wurde unser Urlaub gecancelt. Hier hat je***d das Thema Kundenorientierung schlicht nicht verstanden. *** sollte dieses Hotel komplett meiden.

Wonderful, comfortable and homely relaxed environment in a beautifully presented lodge, in an amazing location. Excellent hospitality and service, delicious and plentiful food and amazing wildlife! I really enjoyed the company, the accommodation and the safaris - great way to escape the city for a few days, soak up nature, switch off and relax.

Thank you Mr. Davey for making us a part of your dream. The experience was wonderful and heartwarming to say the least . Clean & huge room, sumptuous food, great view of Nilgiri’s from balcony, scenic sunrise & sunset. All the associates at the resort are warm and always ready to help. Bonus was sighting of deer below our balcony at night. Please carry on spreading the joy that you do for the guests at your resort. Best of luck & stay healthy.

Lovely place, comfortable and large rooms. Very open to the external air but still practically no mosquitos despite the small pond in front. Huge balcony overlooking the landscape and the pond and the Nilgiris in the distance. Rooms can comfortably sleep 5 people in comfort. Huge toilet with open to sky shower. Good homely food and extremely hospitable hosts. In terms of access, after the Bandipur forest Center once you take a left turn to head towards Dhole's Den and The Serai the road is extremely bad and is a little bit of a torture in a sedan.

Karthik Davey and his Ger*** banker wife Ingrid run a high quality 5 room boutique in the Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Exquisite organic food , highly disciplined staff, meticulous attention to hygiene. It revolves around five hounds of a rare breed personally sourced from Dindigul and Rajapalyam. The breed is called Chippiparai. They howl in sequence both early morning and late evening! The audio is a feast for educated ears! Activities include fishing , safaris and adventure.

Superb property, well designed and ***aged - ***sion. Excellent place to relax, which was much needed after returning from a tight schedule and from being busy in routine work. Most courteous staff at the restaurant giving their best attention to all and also the room service. Look forward to another visit and I would definitely recommend this place to friends. Cons: You will not find swimming pool in place.

Best place in bandipur by far . Excellent rooms with great view , great food , spotted leopard right in the entrance of the venue. If you are looking for private space , not too crowded and not resortish experience then go here

Small place. Like a family den. With beautiful hounds walking around. Wonderful home cooked food served in a community type seating at certain times so we meet our fellow guests. Nice outdoor activities planned at easy intervals giving you adequate time for personal activities and group activities. Highly recommend Dhole's Den for anyone looking for a great getaway. Note: No AC or overhead fan in the room. There is one of floor fan that is a little inadequate and serves the person sleeping on one side of the bed. If it's hot, this will be a problem. Talk to your hosts about it and get equipped. I am sure they will find a solution.

We stayed at Dhole's den for 2 nights. Since we had informed Karthik about our interest in nature especially birds, he had prepared interesting itinerary for us. Twice we went for bird watching with Girish who truly has passion for nature including birds. Apart from showing us different types of birds, he also gave insight on different bird sounds. He was available all the time. He was also present during fishing and night walk where we discussed on different types of frogs. Our most of the days were spent with Girish discussing about surroundings/nature, we learnt so ***y things from him. We also went to their organic farm where my son plucked few vegetables which were used in salad later. And then it was tea drive in some areas near the forest with Lokhiram who briefed us about the forest, farm, his own experience. They also arranged gypsy safari for us. About the rooms, they are beautifully designed, well maintained and very comfortable. Our view from the balcony was so awesome - watching different birds coming to the pond and huge number of Baya weavers busy building their nests, it was such a visual delight. All the staffs were very caring. We had good talk with Ingrid also, she is very friendly. Thank you so much. Only slight improvement can be on food which was a bit too oily for us. We will definitely love to visit again and will recommend this place to anyone who is interested in nature.
