Would I stay on the Golden palm site again NO, I don't know how you allow the old man running the Girts and Hardware shop speak to people like trash, if he cannot cope with the workload why is he still in the job, i'm sorry but I am raising this as an issue as I don't like the way he spoke to my young daughter who has autism and the strong words he uses is unacceptable, I totally agree with most people the site has gone downhill and I would rather stay at Coastfields Holiday village or Haven in the future. The amusement arcade is just as useless as everywhere else, staff just sitting on their ****, they don't want to talk to you.

We visited for the second time. Slightly disappointing stay. Caravan was clean and no complaints in regards to that. So many cars speeding around the site- music blasting from cars. Electric scooters all over the place. Entertainment was ok.. the club house always packed... only stayed for the wrestling as kids were desperate to watch it. Kids entertainers don't always make a huge effort to encourage them to join the activities we left a few due to this. We visited the archers pub down the road £2.80 a pint and friendly staff. Swimming pool clean and enjoyed by all.

After checking in we went to the caravan which was ment to be deluxe but there was nothing deluxe about it the fridge/freezer was small with a small ice box for a freezer the main bin was a small bathroom bin! The beds weren’t made up you had to make yo or own bed yet again not very deluxe! The twin room so the children’s bedroom was next to the entrance door to the caravan very cramped room! The bathroom was extremely cramped the toilet was on top of the shower! There was also a strong smell of ***** across the whole site! Tried to up grade but was told they had no spaces/spare caravans! Worst holiday ever! I would avoid the only nice thing was the swimming pool and the softplay

I was hesitant to book this after reading some of the reviews, but I’m glad I decided to make my own judgment and I went for it! I booked a 2 night spontaneous break and went the same day. We were a family of 4 including an 8 year old and a 3 month old. We arrived late after reception had already closed and our keys were waiting for us at the club tropicana. Check in was easy and quick, we were given a map to find our caravan. We booked the superior caravan and it was a steal at £112 for 2 nights. This included access to the entertainment on the night time. The caravan was easy to find, and well equipped for the duration we were staying for. You do need to take things like toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing up liquid etc as there is nothing like this provided. Can’t complain at this for the price. We did struggle to find the central heating and were freezing on the first night but on the second day we went to reception and they sent someone round to turn it on while we were out for the day. We hired a travel cot for the baby from reception and this was £15 for the 2 nights, saved space in the car. The bedrooms are a decent size, it was a squeeze in the master with the travel cot but this was expected. The caravan itself was clean and comfortable. We unpacked and headed straight to the entertainment in the club Tropicana. Quiz, bingo and a show. Was really good! The drinks are a decent price too for a holiday park, 2 pints and a kids drink was £12 which I didn’t think was bad at all compared to places like haven. All staff were really lovely and helpful. My only complaint about the entertainment venue would be the fire alarm went off on night 2 during bingo, I had the pram with me and I struggled to get out due to the amount of chairs that are rammed into the venue. If this was a genuine fire I would of really struggled to get out it was a big fire hazard. The onsite facilities are really good and everything you would need is on site. The fish shop was lovely, and the staff again were really friendly. The on site shop is huge and has everything you’d need, again a decent price too for a holiday park. The on site amusements were great, my son loved it and it was pretty cheap compared to other places. 5 mins drive to Skegness too. Overall we had a brilliant stay, wish we booked longer. We will definitely be returning!

Arrived at the caravan and all the furniture and floor was wet still from cleaning so we had to take the cushions outside to dry, we made a complaint and was threaten with being thrown of site by security (our phone call was stern but not rude or aggressive in any way). We then found rubbish, debris and a small larvae worm in the pull out sofabed. Expensive swimming pool, grumpy staff, no signage for the exit, disgusting site toilet by the pool building and litter everywhere. We have been to many holiday parks and THIS IS THE WORST.

stayed there on a sun holiday cheap enough caravan was pretty good bed was on crap side site was clean some cars were going bit fast concidering kids about,what did get me they wanted 10 pounds each to go into the clubhouse to spend our money al we wanted was a few pints some food in bit of peace so we decide to spend 120 just up the road nearby thed be better puting extra 10 pounds on caravan so you pay 5 pounds in were in our 70s dont really want to watch kids playing and go swimming and we wernt the only ones ,so apart from that it was ok ,would we stay there again ,no

Had a great 6 weeks here with the kids Shannon the superstar was great has always had loads of fun dancing and singing playing in the park and fun days Neil the singing was great kids have loved it

Great resort with acade/ swimming/ shops/market good on-site parking great for families of all ages lovely accommodation ( static caravan) helpful and friendly staff .
