Trip.com did not disclose under its policy section for the resort that there is a $35.00 per day resort fee and a $2.00 per day destination fee over and above the charges paid to trip.com. Need better information concerning the total amount to be paid. Will probably not use your site to book any further travel.

My husband and I had a great stay. Very relaxing. The only issue we had was our room was not very tidy when we walked in. There were random drawers open in the night stands, dressers and in the bathroom vanity. The extra towels in the basket under the vanity were not cleaned very well, one looked to have been used to wipe off makeup. One of the bathroom sinks had residue in it but the other was clean. It almost seemed like maybe someone came in before us to get ready and left. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable. Overall the stay was great and we hope to come back as a family in the summer!

We enjoyed our visit. The resort is beautiful. The only small issue is that I booked a studio suite that ended up not having any heat. The room we moved to was smaller even though it was supposed to be an upgrade. The move was complimentary, so I won’t complain. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We will be back with our children next time. Thank you for the southern hospitality.

The property is beautiful. They don't tell you about these until you get there. And part of your fears you receive complementary things at the store, but the store was not open, even when it was supposed to be. But the hotel is lovely.

This property is absolutely immaculate! The staff are very friendly and the rooms are gorgeous and crisp. But the best part, the pool and the views of the Charleston Harbor and Bridge! This is a must stay if you are going to Charleston!

This property is so worth the money. I stay with my wife and daugther . The resort is very nice . Has a great deck to walk an the free shuttle to downtown is a plus.

This was a fantastic stay. My wife and I stayed the week between Christmas and New Years. There was ice skating and live music at night. We would like to come back in the summer to see what all there is to do

Stayed during the Christmas holiday, so the entire resort was decorated very nicely! Its pretty dark driving to the resort, so you have to know where you are going or use Google Maps, etc. to guide you. Since there are two properties, I got lost and went to the other property, so I was directed next door. I wish there were more lights or signs to distinguish where you are going. The hospitality was on point though! Champagne upon checkin, 2 free drinks at the marina store and free parking on site. The shuttle that takes you downtown is a nice plus too! The Fishouse restuarant has amazing food and Leigh was great as a server! I wished there was more than one food spot on site, but with the shuttle going downtown, you get more choices. I had a balcony view toward the marina and it was beautiful! The yachts and cruise ships were a sight. Since it was December, I didnt partake in the pools, but the spa was very nice! The 80 minute massage is well worth it and I walked out feeling like a million bucks. All in all, I would go back and recommend for a 2-3 night stay.

The location was nice and quiet, proximity to downtown Charleston was really good as well, and the property itself was well kept and very spacious. The only downside we had was that the bed wasn't very comfortable, not sure if it was just an older mattress or what but that combined with hotel pillows that hold zero shape made for some not so great sleep.
